Mövenpick El Gouna

Beautiful setting, well maintained gardens, pools and everywhere seen clean, our room was very well kept, every member of staff accommodating, our barman went out of his way to look after us, this was important as my husband has been very ill with cancer so for us we wanted to chill. The Lagoon restaurant and pool was our favourite place, an idea could this pool be made a adult only? Our only negative was the entertainment which was very poor the folk nights were great, the singers not so, also as the nights are a bit fresher it would be nice to have blankets available. Overall a very plesent time great food and drink, we will be back as The Terminater said, Ray & Julie.

This was our third visit to this amazing hotel, and it continues to impress. The breathtaking views create a perfect setting for relaxation, while the food is a culinary delight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From housekeeping to dining, every detail was handled with care and professionalism. The hotel’s thoughtful design and welcoming atmosphere make it a standout destination. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

We recently stayed at the Movenpick El Gouna and, unfortunately, the experience was rather disappointing. Despite its variety, the food quality was subpar, with most of the salads appearing to be recycled. The cleanliness was also lacking, as the bed sheets were visibly old and patched. Tipping did not help making a difference - the vacuum cleaner was not used for the one week stay, only the pillow covers were changed regularly. The beauty salon staff were only friendly when selling services, but became rather rude and ignorant afterwards at the time of the appointments. They are really everywhere selling their services in a very insisting manner. Given our positive experiences at other Movenpick hotels, such as in Dubai, the expectations were high. Sadly, this stay did not meet those standards. The only redeeming aspect was the view from our deluxe room terrasse in building 7, where we enjoyed wonderful sunsets over the lagoon. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on our recent stay. The management should make significant improvements to the hotel facilities and service. The nature is beautiful.

Samir best chef 🧑‍🍳 the food was delicious. Specially Veal Kebab :) Ahmed the best waiter. Restaurant Om Kalthoum in Movenpick El Gouna. Great serwis, great pleace. The staff take care of everything that you need. Good special white wine (dry) that Ahmed recommend us was very nice. We recommend this place to eat very good food are wonderful people 🙏🏻🧑‍🍳❤️🤩
