Reviews
was a great experience and amazing view mountain and the sea. i love it ❤specially the food was very dilecios and testy. and big variation in the buffet. breakfast and dinner was amazing. also the chefs are very friendly. the room very clean. all the staff very helpful
We wanted a newyear getaway and it was a perfect getaway , although rooms need a little update as they're quite old but however they were clean , the landscapes and beach is very nice . Overall the mood there is very nice , food quality and variety are very good too . Thank you for the stay .
I checked in on December 31st with 3 rooms booked for 4 adults and 3 kids under 18 thinking that this is the best and accordingly the most expensive resort in Sokhna. After entering the number of people and their age when booking online, my reservation through booking.com considered the 3 kids for free. At check-in, I was first told that the kids are free under 12 so I had to pay extra for 1 kid and an extra adult that joined the party last minute. I did not object to the surcharge but made sure that it would get me 2 triple rooms and one double room. After a 30 mn wait, I get asked for a second surcharge because now the kids were free only under 6. When I asked why the change in discourse, the receptionist literally lied to our faces denying she had promised to fix us 2 triple rooms and 1 double room the first time around. We were basically forced to pay 2 hefty surcharge amounts to finalize the rooms setup. Once we checked in, I discovered that the pool was not heated which is very unusual for a 5-star resort. The breakfast and dinner buffets were average, even on new year's eve which was a disappointment compared to other hotels in the area that I tried before. The service was very poor as no waiters would ask you if you wanted to drink something and when I hunted them down to order drinks or ask for utensils they forgot about my order/request, not once, but on 3 separate occasions. The gas heaters on the terrace were either broken or empty because they would shut down on their own in 5-10mn. The rooms were decent but there wasn't a floor towel in the bathroom and when i asked for one, room service said they only come based on a special request! It's the first time I heard that in 40 years. The bottom line is that this is an overrated and way overpriced resort with poor service and below average amenities.
Had an amazing stay with outstanding staff, cleanliness, and food. Chef Mahmoud Abdelmonem is amazing spacial thanks for the incredible food. Highly recommended! Every thing was perfect, quit place with professional staff. Should be return soon.
Unfortunately, it is not enjoyable at all. It lacks many services and activities. It is extremely boring. The stuff there don't know professionalism in their work, except few of them who deal in a very friendly manner. The only thing fantastic is the beach
