Beautiful environment, excellent spa and spa services

Our room was lovely and very clean, but it definitely showed some signs of wear and tear - especially in the bathroom (grouting, etc.). The grounds and facilities were so pretty to walk around - especially at night. The 'golden hour' of sunset over the Dead Sea is not to be missed! The food was quite good but not really memorable or creative which makes sense because resorts have to appeal to the broadest array of palettes. The standout is the spa which was one of the nicest I've been in and is clearly very well run with excellent staff. We had glorious hammam and massages from Silvia and Marvelle. They were two of the best massage therapists we've experienced! If we lived closer, we'd be their regular clients. Thank you as well to Adel! While we were getting our massages there was a very loud wedding at the hotel next door. The therapists kept apologizing for the noise, but honestly the live music was so good that we even sat outside afterwards to keep on listening and I'm sad that I'll never know the name of the band to hear them again.

I have never been anywhere so beautiful. The Movenpick hotel brand is TOP class. Movenpick Dead Sea is 15/10 stars!!

I have never been anywhere as beautiful as this location I stayed for 2 nights, 3 days with my 3 year old son We were in the Wadi Rum section of the hotel (HIGHLY recommend. The BEST rooms on the entire property) - room W25 They have 7 pools, several of which are heated (I think 2 of these 7 are adults only) The hotel is ON the Dead Sea There is a private beach The staff is AMAZING - so kind, welcoming and genuine The property is beautiful I have stayed at other Movenpick hotels, and truly, they are some of the best in the world - taking into consideration food, staff, location, amenities Movenpick Dead Sea is 15/10 stars The food is amazing The amenities are amazing (the small things add up-- great kids club, great robes, high end slippers, soft sheets, biodegradable toothbrushes....) Another round of applause - this was the best hotel stay of my entire life The property is HUGE- you drive around in golf carts They have a tennis court, a great spa... Several great restaurants and shops

I regret staying here

Too many problems to be a good place to stay but since it is Jordan this might be as good as it gets. Had issues with the toilet, laundry, telephone, TV, maid service, door key, and alarm clock. Always met with the same position from the front desk: I don't believe you, or deal with it. The front staff is probably the worse I have ever dealt with. My laundry was not delivered at 11:00 AM and one day late. I asked the front desk where my laundry was and was told it must be in the room. I am using a cane due to a hip injury and had to walk a block up several stairs to check. Then its like I should "bless" them when they finally bring it. I regret staying here.

A terrible room - not Movenpick standard

We were part of a tour group and the majority of us were unhappy (possibly disgusted) with the standard of our rooms. We are Accor members and have used Movenpick before - but this accommodation was woeful and nowhere near what you would expect. We had what looked like blood stains on the sheets and on a chair (photos 1 & 2). We had a door to our balcony which a bolt had sheared off leaving a dangerous sharp edge and the handle was missing (photo 3). The room required repainting (photos 4 & 5). The sealant around the bathroom sink was filthy (photo 6). And the bath had a shower attachment - with no shower controls! (photo 7). There was no way the shower could be made to work. When we complained to reception staff they changed our sheets and pillows but did not move us to another room. We were glad to leave.
