Excellent hotel, especially the superb staff
I enjoyed two nights at the Movenpick Petra. It is a superb hotel, boasting all the facilities one expects from a traditional hotel in this class. Its position, right opposite the entrance to the Petra World Heritage Site, is not the only reason to book here. The rooms are spacious and comfortable; the choices of food are amazing and the beautiful, calm ambience of the hotel make it a great place in which to relax or pamper yourself a little. Above all, the staff are attentive, friendly and eager to assist wherever possible. A great example of this excellence is Muath K.H who waited at table with intelligent care and went out of his way to help me know more about the area. He, like his colleagues, are superb ambassadors for this excellent hotel. Movenpick is my hotel of choice for a memorable visit to Petra - but it will be the same for many other people, so book early!

Topnotch Customer Service
We had dinner at Mövenpick Petra after a long, tiring day exploring Petra, and it was exactly what we needed. The food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made the experience special was the exceptional customer service from Kasandra, Hilal, and Rashad. They were warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of from start to finish. Dined here with my friends and we all agreed—they made our Petra meal extra memorable. Five stars for these amazing staff members! Highly recommended.

Kind and accommodating staff
This is really a lovely property just across the street from the entrance to Petra and the Petra Visitors Center. We found the staff here to be most friendly and accommodating, especially when my wife got sick. We had dinner in the bar this evening where Mohammad Atmoh Ganem was one of the nicest and helpful people we had met. In addition, when we needed to stay another night, we were helped by someone at the front desk who spent a lot of time figuring out how to extend our stay in this fully booked hotel. We are grateful for our stay here and recommend it highly.

Ask for Mohammad A!
Mohammad A. was more than attentive and accommodating when our friends gathered at the lobby bar after a long day of touring Petra and beyond. The entire staff was friendly and very professional but Mohammad went out of his way to ensure we were well taken care of. We highly recommend this gathering place.

The best hotel for a visit to Petra.
Excellent hotel, located directly across the road from the entrance to Petra. Beautiful character property, efficient and friendly staff, spotless condition throughout the whole hotel. Comfortable and well appointed bedrooms.
