Outstanding job to busloads of tour groups

Our Gate1travel tour was booked here, along with 3 other busload travel groups simultaneously. We stayed 3 nights. Management did a good job of keeping up with the demands. Our room was a good size, clean, comfortable and with all amenities available. Resupply was on spot, no shortage. Buffet breakfast was plentiful, many varieties and good hot and cold options. Waitstaff were busy keeping up. Location was good, walking distance to many restaurants, about 40 min walk to the old medina, although the horse carriage ride on return was even better.

Wonderful Staff, But Stay Had Some Ups and Downs

We stayed at this hotel from 3 October to 10 October 2024. The first few days were great. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Special thanks to Mohamad and Anas from the pool service team—they were always attentive and provided fantastic service by the pool. Also, a big shoutout to Nouhila from the restaurant reception, who greeted us every time with a big smile and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately, the latter part of our stay was not as smooth as the beginning, the last 3 days we were not allowed to use the main swimming pool as it has been reserved for the people attending a big Conference next door. We were not told about this prior to our holiday neither when we checked in!!! the main reason we stayed in this big hotel rather than a Ryiad is to enjoy the sun and relax by the big swimming pool BUT no we had to use the small ”kids” crowded pool. I made a complaint to the guest relation manager – his answer was “sorry and what do you want, he tried to offer us a free SPA pass but I refused….I do not think this is equivalent to half of our holiday. I do not think I will ever stay in this hotel again myself, if you do still want to stay in this Hotel make sure you ask IF there is any conferences going on next door and good luck!!

Amazing garden, great breakfast, and kind staff

It is a really great hotel with an amazing garden. There was a huge selection for breakfast. The staff in general, and Bahia in particular was really kind. I would be really happy if I could get there again. I would really enjoy if I could spend some days just in the garden.

Worth a Visit!

This was my first stay at a five-star property in Marrakesh, and the Movenpick did not disappoint! The grounds were absolutely stunning, with beautiful landscaping and multiple pools perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet was incredible, with a wide variety of options every morning. Huge thanks to Chef Sami and Mostafa for the delicious meals that started our days off right. Our hostess, Nouhaila, greeted us with warmth, and Mohammed, the tea server extaudinare, created an unforgettable tea experience for us every time we had tea...which was multiple times a day. The star of our stay, hands down, was Lahcen, the Guest Experience Manager! He provided Top-Notch Service! His bubbly personality and willingness to assist with ANYTHING were key to making our trip exceptional! When one of my clients had a challenge during check-in, Lahcen quickly stepped in and resolved everything, going above and beyond. This definitely made my client extremely happy! As a travel company owner, having someone like Lahcen on the team, who can problem-solve with a smile, made all the difference. While the overall experience was fantastic, some of the rooms could use a bit of updating to match the five-star standard of the rest of the property. However, this didn’t take away from the luxurious feel of the hotel, which my group and I thoroughly enjoyed. With the beautiful grounds, excellent service, and convenient access to multiple restaurants, it’s a property I’d gladly return to. We’ll definitely be back, and I’m sure my clients will, too!

Great staff, mediocre rooms

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. From concierge, check-in, bellman, security, pool staff, housekeeping and staff at the Kids Club - everyone was friendly, attentive and always eager to help. The grounds were very well kept and lobby was vety grand. Unfortunately, the rooms were quite worn out and needed deep cleaning. Yes, housekeeping staff kept our room tidy every day but carpets and bathroom floors were pretty stained. Location - walking distance to M Avenue and Menara Mall, so lots of restaurants close by. All in all, not bad but for the price Im not sure I'd stay here again.
