I stayed at the Mövenpick hivernage from the 17th -22nd July, firstly, I’ll start with the communication prior to arriving. I had contacted the reservations team to let them know that I was an independent travel agent and that it would be my birthday on the day of arrival, my sisters on the Friday and my mothers on the Monday, I asked if there was anything special that the could do and suggest any restaurants to visit. I received prompt emails with a list of suggestion for celebrations as well as restaurants and excursions. Upon arrival to the hotel at around 11am we were advised that our rooms we ready and they would be allowing us an early check in, which was much appreciated as we had not slept the night prior due to our flight time. We were given garden view rooms, once we emerged the rooms they were very different, one with a garden view and the other with the view and sound of the air conditioning. I called reception and advised that the sound was not going to be acceptable and they quickly showed me to another room which was much better. The hotel is beautiful with lush well kept gardens and areas, there are so many nooks and crannies to the hotel which is exciting to explore. There is a variety of artwork all over the hotel as well as a whole art gallery in the hotels main atrium, this was so unique and an unexpected surprise. The breakfast in the hotel was extensive and has everything you need, although I was looking forward to some of the spicy merguez sausages ( they had chicken ones instead) the room which the breakfast was held in is beautiful and spacious . Fully equipped with several coffee machines, an egg station as well as a traditional Moroccan pancake station which was very popular! The executive pastry chef Rachid Lachgenuer supplied excellent pastries as well as wonderful service as did head chef Sami, both were always helpful and smiling. The overall experience from all staff at the hotel was exceptional and it was clear that the guest experience really is at the heart of this hotel. I had extensive interactions with the concierge team in particular Rafiq, he is extremely knowledgable and an amazing individual, very good at his job and made our stay a lot more enjoyable with his suggestions. Likewise, Lamia and Saad were both very helpful too. The bedrooms we clean and I slept like a baby every night in the comfortable bed with equally comfortable pillows. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, right on the doorstep of M avenue, 15 minutes away from the airport and 10 minutes from the old town. I cannot recommend a stay here enough, my only negative would be that I didn’t stay long enough, looking forward to visiting again. Sent from my iPhone

Stay here at your own risk. I am currently at this property. Pictures show the room I was given. All pictures were taken upon entrance to the room. Do be your own judge of the number of stars the hotel merits. For me, this is not representative of a 5 star property.

One of the best hotel in marrakech not just because of the hotel facilities or location also best because of the management too starting from mr lachen who helped us to get room for my parents as soon as we arrived also update and give as VIP service he always there to make sure untill our still till 3rd till 17th July all the reception team breakfast team were amazing I would highly recommend to ask for.mr lachen very polite and gentle.

Fabulous hotel. We had a superior suite which was spacious and comfortable. The facilities were great Fresh fruit and snacks on arrival in the room. Room was quiet and AC worked wonderfully so no issues sleeping in the heat. Staff were helpful, and service ok. We ate in the Spanish Resturant and enjoyed the hotel buffet one evening. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The hotel is quite central, but just be aware the taxis outside seemed to think that they could charge a premium, just go down to end of street and flag one down it’s half the price! The adult pool was fab, and very quiet and chilled. We really enjoyed seeing the peacocks, rabbits and the fabulous cockerel A very enjoyable experience

Magnificent hotel pure luxury special shout out to El Houssein bellman Who was so kind and helpful in organising my transfer to the airport when my transfer did not arrive. He was wonderful. The swimming pools were beautiful everything was clean and well kept and the bed was super comfortable
