This hotel is beautiful. The decor and setting feels luxurious and modern with a nod to Moroccan culture. There was plenty of choice for food and drink and different spaces from the more lively, heated pool by the pool bar, to a small, quiet, heated adult only pool near the spa. Our spa experience was excellent. Lovely ladies made us feel relaxed and welcome. Look out for Najia who will give you a free foot massage by the pool whilst ensuring you mention her name online. Here you go Najia! All staff seem genuinely friendly and welcoming, without a feel of “angling for tips”. They seem genuinely proud to provide a 5* service. Chocolate hour (every day) provides a display of top quality chocolates to help yourself to and Moroccan tea is constantly available. The food was fabulous and prices are reasonable, comparable with standard London restaurants. If you’re interested in yoga or Pilates, that’s on offer too plus a few boutique shops as part of the complex. We had a superior garden view room on floor 2. It was peaceful and comfortable. There is some road noise generally when you’re outside (the hotel is just off a main road). But it doesn’t really notice with the peace inside or the relaxing music piped into the adults only pool area. Our first trip to a new continent, we felt some trepidation, but everyone we met was so friendly and courteous. There are security and police everywhere in this area and it felt safe. We were looking for a luxury weekend retreat & we found it here. Recommended.
Whilst staying at Mövenpick Marrakech, we enjoyed a wonderful foot massage from Najia who works in the spa ô de rose by cinq monde. She is a fantastic masseuse and provided a very relaxing foot and leg massage when it was most needed! She’s absolutely very professional and works very diligently to make you feel relaxed.
Loved our stay at the Movenpick. Nice vibe and pleasant staff with plenty to do on your doorstep. The pool area was perfect with ample luxurious sun beds and parasols and a cooler only a raised arm away. Big shout out to Sami and Othman’s who looked after us so well at breakfast today. The suite the largest I have ever seen with 2 large bedrooms, sizeable lounge., walk in wardrobes and an adult pool right outside. Heaven!!
Fatiha ,Doha and Nafi made my visit to the Spa very easy and both are very experienced professionals, from the moment I arrived Doha made me feel welcome on reception and can see she’s cares about customer service and the personal experience. I had a few treatments whilst staying and I went with the North African Deep massage and Fatiha was absolutely amazing and really gave the best massage also she did my pedicure which again was really good and much needed . I also had the Hammam with Nafi and she was excellent and very experienced. All in all a great experience and the facility is really nice and go and relax in . Thank you all
There was much to like about our stay, but it was slightly let down by slightly annoying things you might not expect from a five star hotel. As it was a special occasion we had a suite, which was lovely and had a great terrace. We were asked where we wanted our daughter’s bed located and went off out for dinner. When we returned later that evening, no bed, so had to wait for that. The next evening we decided to have room service. There was no menu so we called down and was told a menu would be sent straight over. After 90 mins we gave up! That said, we really enjoyed breakfast and also had lunch one day by the pool, which was nice too. The staff were generally very friendly and helpful, albeit did think Concierge needs more than one colleague helping at busy times. On the whole, a nice stay and lovely comfortable room, but just let down a little by the finishing touches.
