This hotel has the best snorkeling in Sharm, the staff are very helpful and friendly especially Hany with sufficient amount of Egyptian tips, the rooms are OK and the food is generally quite good, However the "all inclusive" option is a complete joke, you are asked to pay for Movenpick ice cream although they give you little vouchers for free ice cream...not Movenpick in a Movenpick hotel. the local alcoholic drinks are not very nice at all. you cannot get a drink before 12 am, you cannot get decaf coffee, you cannot use the Horizon bar (the only Nice bar) unless you pay, you cannot have a coffee unless you pay after 9pm, etc etc... we have rename it Novenpick.
My wife and I spent one week holiday in Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh Egypt.Came back yesterday.We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the Resort team headed by General Manager Mr. Shehab ElDin Mohamed whom I met personally in his office and conveyed to him our thanks and appreciation to the wonderful week we spent in his hotel.We also extended our thanks through him to his team members who also made our stay more enjoyable like Ahmed and Marwan in beach number one.Also supervisor Mr. Mahmoud,Mr. Fathalla kitchen chef.Mr. Mohamed Ahmed the lifeguard.Miss. Mary at the reception.Mr. Islam from Taxi Service who appointed for us his best driver Mr. Mohamed Ramadan as driver and tourist guide.We thank our housekeeper who took care of our room. Many many thanks to the whole team and keep on the good work. We definitely coming back again and again and recommend this resort strongly to anyone who wants to be sure nothing disturb the joy and pleasure of having a wonderful holiday. This resort is a conundrum since if I could rate it 3.5, I would. The location and views are truly 5 stars, as are the 3 private beaches, pool and Scorpio dive center. Service is fantastic, and I would like to point out that a sports massage from Riyab at the Lotus Spa and dinner at the Indian restaurant are not to be missed. The Indian meal would rival anything I could get in New York City and was the best meal we had while in Sharm. However, the rooms themselves are not up to Movenpick standards. The bathrooms offer no amenities besides body wash, hand wash, hand lotion, one single hand towel and two regular towels. Granted, the regular towels are extra large but even a 3 star hotel would provide washcloths, hair conditioner or amenities kits. I could understand if one was missing, or even possibly two, but all three? Mind boggling. In addition, we were given a room close to the pool but with two twin beds instead of a king. The breakfast buffet was decent, but two out of three mornings there were no spoons, even if you asked for them. How can you eat cereal or yogurt with a fork? The juices came out of a box, which is also unusual for a 4 or 5 star hotel, and on our last day there was about a 20 minute stretch when the buffet ran out of coffee. Also, if you choose to eat on the patio, be prepared to be surrounded by aggressive crows who will steal things off your plate the moment you get up for seconds. The liquor selection was disappointing, as nothing was top shelf. We stuck to drinking Sakkara Gold beers, and the bartender was great.
I would like to thank Mr Nader for his nice welcome in the reception bar. Such a nice welcome .🙏 Its an expected from All Accor I will definitely be pleased to come here again . All Accor is ways my first option . This is what I encountered from All Accor .
We ( family with three children) had an amazing time at the hotel. The rooms we stayed in were newly renovated and very clean. We loved the snorkeling off beach no. 1. It was fantastic with a big variety of colourful fish and corals. The beaches were nice. The food was really good, even for vegetarians. The only downside were mosquitos in the room. The staff was friendly and professional. We would love to visit again!
