3.5 stars. Pros: clean and well-kept property. The pool is enormous and not crowded. Felt safe on the property. The beach is easily accessible. Cons: you will be nickel and dimed for everything. Not a true all-inclusive. There is only one restaurant included and it is open for 5 hrs for breakfast, 2 hrs for lunch, and 2.5 hrs for dinner. In between, you can get snacks from the pool bar. The first day we got a club sandwich. The second day, they said the club sandwich was not part of the all-inclusive and we could only get a pizza or burger. The pizza was 8 inches and terrible. The drinks are the lowest quality liquor imaginable. You are in the Middle East, so the liquor quality is understandable. The food in the Liwa Main Restaurant, the one that is part of the all-inclusive, is mass-produced and largely tasteless. By day 3, I wanted to leave the property to eat. The only drinks available at breakfast are water, coffee, tea, and some juices. They wouldn’t serve me a cola before lunch. The staff is not overly helpful. Do not try to check in at 1:59, they won’t let you. Do not get a massage, they have no idea what they are doing, and it was $150 for 2, and they tried to charge me in more expensive currency. I would definitely return to Sharm, but not this property.

Amazing hotel

I had a truly wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, clean, and professionally managed. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the facilities were spotless and well-maintained. What really stood out for me, though, was the exceptional service from (Hossam Hassan) from pool s’staff. He was incredibly polite, always smiling, and genuinely respectful in the way he interacted with guests. His warm attitude and willingness to help made a big difference in my stay. You could tell he truly cares about the guests’ comfort and experience, which reflects so positively on the hotel as a whole. This kind of service is rare to find — professional, kind, and done with a smile. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel but... ladies beware of the animation team!

I recently stayed at Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh and wanted to share an honest review to help future travelers, especially women, make informed decisions. Pros: The chefs were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made dining more enjoyable. The building is beautiful, and the location is stunning, with easy beach access and great views. Our room was nicely designed and comfortable. When we reported an ant infestation, the resort responded quickly and sprayed the room. Cons: The buffet was average, with very limited options for guests with dietary restrictions. Room service was poor. Despite tipping generously, sheets and towels were not changed during our stay. What needs serious improvement: During our stay, we had an extremely uncomfortable experience with the animation team. As two female guests, we were repeatedly approached by staff members even after we clearly expressed that we were not interested in engaging socially. On one occasion, 2 team members pulled up chairs next to us, and we were pressured into conversations about wanting to engage in personal relationships. When we politely declined further communication, the staff insisted on explanations and made inappropriate comments such as “I’m crazy about you.” This behavior was intrusive, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. This experience left us feeling uneasy and unsafe during what should have been a relaxing vacation. I strongly urge the resort management to address these issues, especially around staff conduct and guest privacy. A Note to Female Travelers: Please be cautious. While the resort has its charms, the behavior we encountered was unacceptable and should not be overlooked.

We stayed for 4 days after spending some time in Naama Bay. We were immediately helped to check in and shown to our room. The relaxing holiday then began. STAFF Thank you to Mr Kamal Osama the manager for his kindness. Also thank you to the Mohamed A Mohammed F and Mohamed N. Mrtan at the beach bar was so helpful serving drinks Food Thank you Mr Ashraf and Mr Fal Allah and all the chefs. All the food was really good flavour and high quality. Lovely bread and especially mousse and choux pastry desserts. Beach Thank you to the red sea for the coral reef and all the beautiful fish we saw . The pier on beach 4 enabled access to the water and the life guard was there. Room this was spacious and tastefully decorated in an arabic fashion. Great room housekeeping service and nice shower and products in the bathroom. Really good air conditioning need to be on all the time as it was over 40 degrees most of the time. Grounds so pretty with flowers trees and stunning lighting in the evening. Our time off is precious and this hotel delivered a bubble of tranquility that we needed.
