Wonderful Stay at Movenpick Taba – Amazing Staff, Spa, Restaurants & Red Sea Tour (Food in Main Dining Room Could Improv
We stayed at the Movenpick Hotel in Taba from Friday to Sunday (23-25 May 2025) for two nights, with an all-inclusive package. The hotel is beautiful—very clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. The rooms, bathrooms, pools, and public areas were spotless, and the view is absolutely stunning. The staff was truly exceptional—kind, respectful, and always smiling. Special thanks to Merna at reception, Abd El-Fattah, and Nabil from the beach bar for their warmth and excellent service. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay, and the hotel surprised us with a lovely flower arrangement on the bed and a sweet cake—such a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed a fantastic visit to the spa, where we received amazing treatments from Rimon, Alaa, Shireen, and Rania. We had a pedicure and facial—Alaa in particular was incredibly kind and skilled. The spa is beautiful and offers a very relaxing experience. One of the highlights of our trip was a boat tour on the Red Sea. We sailed to a beautiful coral reef, full of colorful fish, and went snorkeling—it was magical! There’s also an option for diving. The guides were professional, helpful, and, like the rest of the staff, always smiling. Regarding the all-inclusive meals in the main dining room—this was the one downside of our stay. While food was always available, the variety was lacking and the quality didn’t meet expectations. We ended up eating mostly rice and dry chicken. Dinner was almost identical to lunch. After the first day, we chose to eat outside the main dining room. However, the hotel offers two on-site à la carte restaurants that completely made up for this: 1. The Seafood Restaurant is authentic, clean, and beautifully designed. We had a delicious shrimp dish served with rice and fries, a Greek salad, and a mixed grill with chicken kebab and ribs—accompanied by wine and beer. Everything was perfectly cooked and presented. The staff was so attentive, especially one waiter (possibly named Karim) who constantly checked in to make sure we were satisfied. We even returned the next day for lunch and had pizza, salad, and freshly baked bread. All excellent. 2. The Chinese Restaurant was equally impressive—elegantly designed with a beautiful entrance over a water pool. The food was tasty and beautifully plated. We had spring rolls, sushi, and sweet & sour beef with vegetables, along with wine and beer. The waiter Gouda was super friendly, and even the chef, Dahi, came out to ask if everything was okay. Wonderful hospitality. One thing we hope the hotel will improve is enforcing the non-smoking policy. Although the hotel is advertised as non-smoking, guests in the room next to us smoked on their balcony, which made it unpleasant for us to sit on ours. Suggestions for improvement: The all-inclusive experience would be better with more food variety, especially fresh fruits like apples, pears, and watermelon. Snacks should be available by the pool and beach—like pizza, shawarma, fruit, and especially ice cream, which was not included. It felt strange to have unlimited alcohol but not snacks or simple ice cream, especially in hot weather. In summary, our stay was memorable and relaxing. The staff, spa, restaurants, and Red Sea activities were amazing. With some improvements to the all-inclusive dining and smoking policy, this hotel could easily become a top-tier destination. Highly recommended for couples and families looking for beauty, tranquility, and kind service.

Great experience

The food is very special and the way it is presented and the items are varied and satisfy all family members. Like breakfast and its excellent variety

Great Resort
We’ve spent 5 nights here as foreigners (South African 🇿🇦) and we’ve had such a good experience at the Resort. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We were treated with much respect and well looked after. The food was amazing, the room is amazing and tidy, and our overall experience at the Resort was worth it. Travelling as a foreigner to this area isn’t the easiest because of all the security check points & language barriers…. But should you want to visit the resort I’d recommend you fly to Sharm El-Sheikh and catch a private vehicle (arrange it through the Resort) to the Resort directly.

Injured at the hotel
I have been injured at the location now spoke to the manager, requested assistance, as for ambulance, no seem to care. I have been sitting at the lobby for over an hour waiting for Help. Requested the manager to give me assistance she hasn’t done so. I am still waiting for assistance. I have been in pain for a while.
