Mövenpick Giza is a beautiful property with expansive gardens. It is a great place to stay due to its central location; the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) are just a 30-minute drive away, and Islamic Cairo is about 30-40 minutes in the other direction. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was large, nice, and very clean. A nice touch was that they provided unlimited bottled water whenever we asked. The laundry service was also affordable and returned within a day. The only downside was the breakfast buffet. While it had a huge variety of items, most things tasted stale, flavorless, or undercooked. The omelet station was the only saving grace. For a property at this price point, the food quality should be much better. The hotel hosts large bus groups. If you arrive at the wrong time, you might have to wait for check-in. Getting a golf cart to your unit can also be difficult during these times. Some units are a 10-minute walk from reception, which isn't convenient if you have heavy luggage.

Movepick Media is a friend/ family friendly resort hotel with a great, connected water park covering the entire huge compound of the asset. Kids can spend time here all day and have fun, but December will be a bit cold. I enjoy the buffet restaurant the most. Good food, very friendly service, with personal chef for omelettes. I must highlight a server by the name of Armed who greets me every morning with a bright smile and always remember that I begin my morning with an extra hot Latte. This is a great hotel that's close to many exploration sites. I'll be back if I'm in the area again.

We traveled with our family on an organized trip. Our hotel in Cairo was the Mövenpick Hotel. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The swimming pool is spectacular. The breakfast is amazing, with a wide variety of food for all kinds of people.

Our stay here has been interesting with a few ups and a down (hotel has us as a on double twin beds instead of one single bed but they moved us to a single bed in the second night). The buffet breakfast was good with a lot of food options. Ahmed did an amazing job as we needed non dairy milk and he went above and beyond to ensure we got some for our morning coffee. The grounds are amazing. Two wonderful pools to enjoy your down time!
