Mövenpick Sharm El Sheikh

I want to thank this hotel for the smile staff at the outlets and for the clean rooms and the view, and specially my room and the Wifi it was very excellent and everywhere at the hotel.

Amazing view, very beautiful beach and swimming pool, excellent hospitality the staff very helpful ,different types of delicious food, you will find in this hotel restaurant named Kababgy it serve better food in sharm el sheikh ,the room very clean and really many places of this hotel very beautiful and the Wifi excellent and free every where.

I went to Sharm El-Sheikh for one reason-snorkeling, and the snorkeling at the Movenpick House Reef was excellent! You can rent snorkeling equipment from two different places on the property, and all you have to do is walk on the small beach into the water and the reef is right there. You can snorkel as long as you want without bumping into other snorkelers like you would on an organized snorkel excursion. I saw triggerfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, pufferfish, mother and baby blue-spotted stingrays, a giant eel, and more. It was awesome! The resort is very nice and my room was a very good size. It was located very close to the buffet. The buffet was very good, with a nice selection, and even though Sharm El-Sheikh is rated in one study as the #2 place in the world for food poisoning, I had no stomach issues with the food. Almost all of the guests were Russian, but all the staff that I dealt with spoke English. The staff at the hotel were very friendly overall, except for Artum at the front desk, who was just plain rude. I've read other reviews saying the same thing about him and he should not be working at the front desk, as he is hurting the reputation of your hotel. After taking the hotel shuttle from the airport to the hotel, I told him I wanted to take the hotel shuttle from the hotel to the airport at 3am when I checked out. I mentioned it twice to him but he kept insisting I take the hotel taxi (they have a small office in the hotel). He said it was the same price as the hotel shuttle. I met my taxi driver during the day but when I was ready to leave, a friend of that driver showed up instead. He was nice but he missed the entrance to the airport and literally backed the car up on the highway for hundreds of feet. This would be extremely dangerous if there were any cars around, but thankfully there weren't any. The driver told me the price and it was 20% more than the shuttle. Not a lot of money, but why did Artun insist I take the taxi instead of the hotel shuttle? He was wrong about the price. Does he get a referral commission from them? Anyway, the way he interacts with guests is totally different than the rest of the staff, and not in a good way. I never used the pool and never laid out at the beach, so I can't speak to that, but overall, I was happy to stay at the Movenpick Naama Bay and would stay there again.

A special shout-out to Maher, who was incredibly kind and made the experience even better. We truly appreciated all your effort. They were not just organizing the activities, they were doing everything for us to have the best experience possible! We had more than a lovely time! I truly recommend to book the activities with this team!
