Mövenpick Resort & Spa Tala Bay Aqaba

We have now arrived back in the UK after a wonderful stay at Movenpick Tala Bay. It was our first time in Jordan and we were blown away by the kind hospitality at this hotel. I would like to mention all the staff who really made our stay memorable. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the lovely Haneen on reception who made check-in seamless and told us of our upgrade to the beautiful King Suite Sea View which was delightful. She was also super helpful throughout the stay, a real credit to your team with a lovely smile! We had room service that evening and Yoga was so friendly! We had a great conversation with him and the food was delicious. We spent the next couple of days in the hotel as we had spent the prior few days exploring Petra/ Wadi Rum, so Tala Bay was the perfect place to relax. A huge appreciation to Emad by the pool, he was so charming and really funny, he was always so attentive with everything. For the dining we ate in the Italian restaurant, Casa Lingo - the food was spectacular and we loved the bread/olive oil selection before our appetiser. Melanie and Alex were wonderful, so friendly and so helpful / knowledgable - we had a great conversation both evenings! The chef Osama was fantastic and we loved the attention to detail service throughout the dinner, especially the beautiful selection of dessert pastries on our last night! Moving onto the room, it was absolutely spotless and we loved the towel art by Ary. We also spoke with Giovane on our last day and he was so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for the great selection of cakes upon our arrival to the room. The on-site nurse Dr Haifa was amazing, she was really reassuring as I had some mosquito bites that required attention - she was so calm and was so kind, alongside lovely Dr Nassar. Other names to note are Joseph and Hassan outside the hotel who helped us with our luggage, so warming and welcoming. Tareq on breakfast was also super friendly! Thank you also to Mustafa (Amer) who made sure our stay was perfect throughout. We would love to return to this amazing hotel - it is the perfect place to relax, perfect for families/couples and the staff at the hotel make this what it is, they cannot do enough for you - more hotels should take note of this level of service, it is outstanding. First , I would like to thank everyone for the great hospitality , starting from the main entrance smile to warm welcome of the reception staff and they were very helpful and gave us amazing room cleaned well and looking to the pool and red sea The food was delicious and good variety, and the staff service were amazing they were very polite and anticipate our needs , special thanks for the SPA staff they hade a warm welcome and it was very relaxing and enjoyable Hotel has very good facilities but unfortunately, we can’t use it all as the weather was bit cold and we really enjoy our stay and sure will come back with the family. We had a really great time in the hotel. The hotel is amazing especially if you have kids. The kids activities are awesome.

Regarding the hotel itself, the many positive reviews truly speak for themselves. What we would especially like to highlight, however, is the incredible team that made our stay so memorable. At the spa, Trisna, Theresia, and Evita were absolutely wonderful. The staff at the shisha bar were equally kind and attentive, creating a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Room service by Aky was impeccable—thank you! A special mention goes to the main restaurant, where the team went above and beyond every single day. Chef Yousef, a great chef and a wonderful person, and his team create an outstanding buffet daily—simply amazing. They are always happy to prepare special requests and bring them directly to your table, whether it’s Mansaf, fish, extra ice cream, or anything else you might wish for. Chef Mohamed, who is responsible for (among other things) the shawarma and Indian dishes, deserves special praise as well—such delicious food and such a friendly presence. Finally, a big thank-you to the service team, including Ryan, Ega, and Vivi (who makes the best lemon mint drink you will ever have 😉), as well as all the other team members whose names we may not have caught. Everyone was incredibly attentive, genuinely kind, and simply lovely. Thank you all for making our stay truly special.
