Wow, what an incredible place

We book as a stop over on the way back from Petra, so we could jump into the Dead Sea This resort is so much more than a stop over. It was amazing. We stay at a lot of places, The facilities here were next level. Rawan the guest relationship manager was excellent. Definitely worth a stop

Comfortable short stay

Visited just after Christmas.I emptied the cute village look within the resort, it makes for a nice walk in the afternoon, as there aren’t much to do in the area outside the resort. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. Great breakfast . Ms Fakhoury checked us in and is very kind. Thank you for making our stay a great experience. There is a small shopping center within a few minutes walk, just a few restaurants, a grocery store and a few clothing and souvenir shops. Not much but it’s a good alternative if you would like to venture out to try food outside of the resort.

Delightful and Disappointing.

This sprawling luxe establishment is an extravagantly designed and furnished resort and spa sited on the northern shore of the Dead Sea. It has a plethora of amenities including multiple restaurants, bars, spa, pools, Dead Sea access and even a mud bath. Unfortunately, while the public areas and surrounding lavish gardens and courtyards are invitingly beautiful and maintained, the actual accommodations and service are dismal. So stay for the Dead Sea location and access and day-and-night enjoyment of the enchanting exterior courtyards and garden areas. But keep your expectations in check for everything else.

Good ambience, Bad service

Very unlike Jordan. Hospitality missing, service poor.. customers are given least importance. Basic things not kept in the room, need to ask and wait for all such necessities. Had wait for an hour to get another room alloted even checking in at around 3pm. Suggest avoiding Movenpick if you want to experience Jordan Hospitality

Fell flat

We’ve traveled extensively with our older children and this was the first time we were charged extra for them. If you are traveling with kids older than 12, you’ll have to pay extra, even with a family suite. We asked for clean towels one night and they never arrived. The bathrooms were moldy, the toilet didn’t flush and the shower didn’t drain. The inside of the rooms look like they are straight from 1995. The outside areas of the hotel are fun but our rooms were nonfunctional and dingy.
