Great experience
Very good massage. Staff friendly. We did the sauna, sugar scrub and massage. Total 120 mns. For $120 us. Very enjoyable! Give them a try if you are staying at the Movenpick…Thanks, Amed and staff! If ever we are back in Egypt we will definitely be back!

TL;DR - Skip the buffet
We’re currently on our third day in Egypt but first night at Movenpick — enough time to know that the cost of living is exceedingly cheap here. For example, we ate at a nice Italian restaurant in our resort for $17 last night, which included a lasagna entree, bruschetta appetizer and two soft drinks. I received a 90-minute massage at the hotel spa for $90. Everything has cost less than expected, so we foolishly let our guard down. We decided to eat at the restaurant in the Movenpick hotel because it’s on an island, so the only way to get anywhere else is by taking a boat. We asked for a menu and entrees were between 300-400 Egyptian pounds, which converts to $6-$8. We planned to order an entree, but the waiter suggested we get the buffet because everything on the menu is on the buffet, so we said ok — we’re on holiday after all — without inquiring about the price. For starters, everything on the menu was NOT on the buffet, including the entree I had my eye on. The only meat on the entire buffet was grilled chicken and roasted duck. There were several versions of Caprese salad and lettuce but very little protein. I had a baby cannelloni, a bowl of pasta with tasteless Alfredo, and a salad. Frankly, I’ve had enough chicken since I got here and really wanted something different (not a fan of duck.) The dessert table had a lot of options, but the crème brûlée I selected was lumpy, so I only ate two bites. We expected this meal to cost us a max of $30, so you can imagine our shock when the bill was $104. No way was that mediocre buffet worth $50/person. We feel absolutely scammed to have been directed to this option, especially when it didn’t even have the entrees we actually wanted. It’s left a bad taste in my mouth — no pun intended. The takeaway: skip the ludicrously-priced buffet and order the $6 meal you actually want — and always ask for the price first. Lesson learned.

Best place ever
Check-in at lobby: smooth and efficient. required deposit though. Room: 1 floor had lounge, good contrasting view of old city all the way to the Nile . Quiet room. Air-con appropriate temperature. Panorama Resturant is very well managed. good view. tea time; good food quality. breakfast: quiet, good food quality and sufficient variety, even better compare to the buffet breakfast at 1/F according to wife best thing is to seeing Tisir and to meet her new team Dimiana, Shahd and beautiful Isrea

Very nice hotel in aswan
Beautiful hotel, everything was perfect, the Room's were really nice and the swimming pool is very pleasant, plus the garden is so beautiful and very big , the location with the special view of the Nile was great. Highly recommended to this hotel

Exceptional
