We originally booked an Atrium Room to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday but when we got there, our room was upgraded to Premium Suite which was awesome! 😁👏 We definitely enjoyed our stay here despite the gloomy weather 😅 The room was clean & spacious with a nice view from the balcony. Also, the beds were super comfortable, we slept like babies 😴 The staff were very welcoming and always greeted us with a smile 😊 The Breakfast Buffet was super worth it! Plenty of options especially the desserts (as a sweet tooth, this really made me happy 🤤) They also have unlimited chocolate from 3-4pm! 🍫🍩🍪 One of the best resorts I've been to and will definitely be back in the future. Thanks Mövenpick for making our stay a memorable one! 😊
Great short stay. A beautiful Hotel with amazing facilities. Huge pool and amazing private beach. Both Mark (Front Desk) and Mae (Restaurant) customer service was exceptional and to be honest all the staff were great. Can't wait to come back
I was pretty disappointed with this place. It's not like the pictures. They must be from 10ys ago. This place is run down and expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Buffet and coffee were very poor. The bed was poor quality and hard, the room was very damp and had a damp smell it was very old looking and the bathroom needs upgrades, it's held together woth caulking and old tile. The pool area was nice and the deck was nice. The staff are very very friendly and the service was really good. I wouldn't stay here again though.
I had a fantastic time at Movenpick. The private beach was nice, the free room upgrade and super late check out even though the hotel does not directly participate with Accor programme was nice but what takes the cake was the staff. Everyone in there was super polite, extremely nice and went out of their way to fulfil all my requests.
My wife and I stayed at the Movenpick Mactan Cebu for 6 nights from March 9th to 15th. We had a suite on the 22nd floor (Rm# 2202). It was our first trip to Philippines and we chose the Movenpick hotel having previously enjoyed a stay at another Movenpick resort in Phuket Thailand some years ago. We can easily say that our overall vacation experience in the Philippines was fantastic. While the hotel might be a bit older it doesn't show or take away from the guest experience. The staff were absolutely amazing and provided some of the most hospitable and friendly service we have ever received in all our travels. Our room was beautiful, provided all the amenities we needed and was kept extremely clean through daytime servicing and night time turndowns. The food at the hotel was fantastic and provided many options in very generous quantities from breakfast to dinners. The beach area, although not large, was perfect and not busy at all at the time of our stay. The grounds and beach area are beautifully kept and provide for a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay. Overall the hotel is a great choice of accommodations in Cebu and the staff make this a truly amazing place to be and we would definitely do it all over again.
