We stayed here for 2 nights before going home to the US. Value for money was great. Our airport pick up was very convenient, but cheaper if you do Grab instead if ever. The staff who picked us up were very polite and pleasant but I forgot his name. We wanted to buy just a bit of dressing supply for my son who had an abrasion and he was quick to suggest and call the nurse to attend to us. The lobby was very clean, check in was smooth, staff were all friendly and accommodating to our needs. Our 4 yr old son had an abrasion on his leg and they had a nurse who did the dressing. The nurse was kind enough to help us. Our ocean view room was excellent, amenities were great and well thought of. Bathroom was spacious, the bed, the linens and pillows gave us a restful sleep. There was chocolate time every afternoon and we had to miss it because we had to go to downtown but special mention to Mr Quimquim Dimol, one of the conceirge who was very thoughtful to offer and have some of the chocolates sent to our room. Their dining area and service was very excellent as well, especially the staff as we went on a weekday so we were the only customers who had a late dinner, so the staff were very alert and accommodating of our needs throughout the dining experience. We enjoyed night swimming in the pool. The beach the next day was wonderful, clean and good to see underwater since we could see some fish swimming in shallow waters. We would definitely come back again,the price not as expensive as the bigger resorts but the place was superb and most of all, every staff at Movenpick gave us a good impression of how 5 star service feels like.

Stayed 6 nights. It was a great experience. Staff is very friendly. Special shout out to AJ who was very helpful. Beach was very clean and beautiful. Food was delicious. If I could criticize perhaps the bathroom are in need of some renovation.
Location: The hotel is situated in an area with two small local corner shops nearby, offering mostly soft drinks and alcohol. However, a 15-minute walk takes you to Mactan Newtown, which features Robinsons Supermarket, ChaiTime, Alfresco Dining, and Chubi Chubi restaurant—great options for shopping and meals. Beach: The hotel has a private beach suitable for swimming, but the water isn’t particularly clear. Room and Cleanliness: The room was clean, with bottled water provided daily. It included a mini fridge. However, there were only two power sockets, and they were not international, so bringing an adapter is recommended. Restaurant: There is one restaurant and a bar on-site. While halal food is not available by default, Gio—the Breakfast and Front Office Manager—was very understanding and ensured our food requirements were met. A local dessert called Maha was especially delicious. Dinner is à la carte, while breakfast is served buffet-style. Pool: The pool is fantastic and open until 10 PM. It’s especially beautiful at night with the lights. Activities: Live entertainment is available on Fridays. Right next to the hotel, you can book an excellent boat trip with a company called Peak Day—highly recommended! Staff: Service throughout the hotel was exceptional—truly seven-star quality. From the security guards to the hotel staff, everyone greeted us with “Welcome to Mövenpick” as soon as we arrived. Special thanks to Gio for going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.
We spent a day at Mövenpick last April 11 to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired design and stunning facilities are incredibly Instagrammable and offer great value for the price. There were engaging activities for both adults and kids, and the hotel’s signature Chocolate Hour was a delightful treat that made our visit even more special. Customer service was exceptional from start to finish. Special thanks to Richie, who welcomed us with his warm smile and provided outstanding service throughout our food experience. He went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Also want to give a big shout-out to Kit of reservation who answered my call and efficiently provided information of our day-use inquiries, lastly to Robert from Sales, who went beyond in arranging everything for our group of 11. The experience has definitely made us want to return. We’ll be recommending Mövenpick to our friends and family!
