Mövenpick Cebu

I stayed at this property with my fiance for two days. I had already been in the Philippines and stayed at several other hotels. My fiancé stayed here 8 years ago and said it was much nicer. You can tell the hotel needs a remodel besides that it was a pleasant stay. Things we didn’t like: the menu was the same for all restaurants. The power went out twice and we were on a high floor. Traffic was crazy to and from this hotel, so plan an extra 30 minute drive. What we liked: while the food options were limited, they were very tasty. Being there for two days we got to try almost everything on the menu. Spa - I can’t remember the name, ultra bliss or something similar, the most expensive couple package was AMAZING. Analyn and Evelyn took such good care of us! We spent 5 hours in the spa. I got an ear infection from the pool or ocean. I asked the front desk and they called an onsite doctor. He arrived when I was in the spa, checked my ear out, ordered me some antibiotic drops from the pharmacy, they delivered to the hotel and it was all billed to my room. Total VIP service! This is the kind of stuff that a high end hotel can provide and made sure I will be staying there on my next trip. Tip - their bar staff apparently thought a Margarita has triple sec in it. I had him make a Mexican margarita and it was much better, not quite as good as back home but best one in Asia so far. The beach was nice, tons of chairs with umbrellas. Good food and drink service from the bar, all the way to the beach.

We’re here for a conference right now and the experience is great, especially to the food. It was prepared and served on time. The taste is superb. Shout out to the exec chef and staffs, Rudy and Eric. They’re very visible and approachable. Two thumbs up for the service and experience.

Amazing staff that worked tirelessly to ensure that we are warmly welcomed. Just to pick out a few, Lester is very professional, kind and showed exceptional care for our family throughout our stay. Sheena was also very friendly and accommodated to all our requests promptly! We greatly appreciate the extra mile that all the staff went for us! Gio was also extremely helpful. He heard our requests and ensured that we were taken care of well! ALL staff were very polite and welcoming, always gave us a smile!! And offered assistance at every step Also the food was amazing! Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food, very appetising as well! The facilities like the gym and pool were also really fun to use, very clean and the sea views from the hotel rooms were breathtaking! Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Movenpick and can’t wait to be back another time ;)

Customer service is very good and the food was great! Not to mention, the view of the sea and pool! Also Lester from the Sails is very accomodating. I would live to come back and atay again here whenever there is an opportunity! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
