The hotel is so far from the "dmall" area and the free shuttle only goes a few times a day on unconvinent times. The hotel beach is full of rocks and not clean which makes it difficult to swim. The shower in the hotel room doesn't have hot water which sucks when your coming back from swimming. The staff in the lobby are super unfriendly and not helpful at all. I believe the upper management teach them these manners since all of them I dealt with were the same. I realized I could've booked a better hotel for the same price. What a shame this hotel was! Don't book this hotel and ruin your vacation!
The location was right on a private beach and was so beautiful. The water is warm and the sand was so soft and clean. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. Special mention to Oli in the market cafe and to Ronald for our room service. The room was a standard hotel room, but was very clean. I especially enjoyed the shower and the water pressure and temperature. I wish the tv/cable was better though, it was very dark and low definition. Howver, the wifi was great, consistent 50mbps. The grounds were very well kept and I loved all of the palm trees.
Myje was absolutely amazing as the butler during our engagement. He was attentive, professional, and incredibly kind, making us feel truly special. Everything was perfectly organized, and every detail was taken care of flawlessly. Thanks to him, the entire experience was unforgettable and absolutely perfect.
5 out of 5 - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mövenpick Boracay. Our very friendly, caring, & thoughtful housekeeper made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable. Ana Marie's creative style, which involves using towels to make cute animals and leaving them on our bed, is lovely. She left small goodies, such as a thank-you note and a small platter, which is very sweet as well. Thank you, Ana!!
We loved our stay here so much! Excellent service! Excellent breakfast spread! They have so so many activities guests can enjoy (like the chocolate hour, happy hour, street food nights, zumba, tinikling dancers, etc). And best of all - their in house performer Mark Morales. We are so amazed at how he can manage to sing and entertain guests, and right after singing, he will immediately change and come back with a group for fire dancing! I’d also like to commend ALL the staff at Movenpick, specially Steve and Mariah. We felt their genuine joy to serve and make our stay the best it can be :) We are definitely coming back!!
