Fantastic Kid Friendly Hotel

What a fantastic family orientated hotel! We just stayed for 7 nights with our young kids and we couldn’t fault it. The Movenpick website doesn’t tell you all the great things that it has. For those travelling with kids, this is what we knew before we went: - The main pool is enormous and will keep the kids entertained for hours. There is a lagoon style section with beach sand that is nice and shallow for the kids to play in. The kids water park is attached to the main pool but separated with a low wall. There are two green waterslides that go down a hill but they’re quite simple, so probably good for ages 7 down. - There are giant pool bean bags floating around the pool for anyone to use. I saw kids jumping off them or being towed around, and adults lounging on them. - The pool hut has extra inflatable pool toys to use. - There is a splash area for toddlers in front of the restaurant. Lots of water sprayers and the water is around knee deep. - There is a fenced bunny corner in the back of the hotel that you can access any time of day. Bunny feeding is twice a day (9am and 4pm) and the kids got to hold the bunnies and feed them carrots and greens. This was seriously one of their highlights. - The main restaurant breakfast was delicious and had plenty of kid friendly food, even for picky eaters. There is a designated kids area with low tables so that they can reach and serve themselves. It had pancakes, fruit, croissants, toasted sandwiches etc. Right next to it is a kids eating area with relaxed seating and a tv. Our kids usually ate with us and then went here while we finished. - There is a ping pong table next to the pool – ask for balls and bats from the pool hut. - It is a 5 min downhill walk to the beach, uphill on the way back. The hotel offers a golf buggy transfer service on the hour which was really lovely. Next to the buggy they have beach kits available with umbrellas, mats etc. If you plan to go out at night beware that the back gate is locked at 7pm – not a big drama but you’ll need to walk all the way up the hill to the front of the hotel. - The kids club was fantastic and our kids asked to go every day. We got 4 free hours every day, if we wanted it. There are lots of activities that you have to pay extra for (face painting, t shirt making etc) but they can still be in the kids club at the time and not have to do these things. - Happy hour is 4-6 at the pool bar with 2 for 1 cocktails and beer. The drinks are really strong. Put the kids in kids club and go! - Sort of ”attached” to the hotel, in front of the main reception is the Samasta small shopping district with restaurants and a few shops. There was a free Balinese dance & Barong dance performance in the square at 7pm every night which was great. They even put bean bags out for the kids to sit on. - The Movenpick Café is in this shopping district and we loved it. It’s a small menu offering a la carte breakfast – good for if you don’t feel like all you can eat. The coffee was the best we’ve had in Bali and they have a window of fresh pastries. Bonus that we could charge it to the room and not worry about cash etc. - Chocolate hour is from 4-5pm every day. It’s the same things every day but the kids didn’t mind one bit. There are two chocolate fountains – be prepared for the the kids to get messy! Please excuse the long review. I hope this helps somebody plan their trip a bit!

Relaxed, refreshed!!!

Amazing experience all together. From the moment to get to spa, you are welcomed with a refreshing beverage and a cold towel to kick start the experience.. Amira was my therapist, and she speaks well and really knows what she's doing. Thank u so much for taking care of my neck twitch and headache.
