MÖVENPICK RESORT & SPA JIMBARAN BALI

Stayed in the Family Duplex room. The online system will only let you book 3 in a room but they will let you sleep 4 (2 adults and 2 children) in the room. The room is split into an upstairs and downstairs with 2 bathrooms. The upstairs room has a sofa bed that could sleep two but there was room for an extra single airbed for comfort. The resort was excellent and well run. Pool was amazing and my kids did not want to leave. Best hotel we have ever stayed in. Will be back.

The weather and view is good. The chocolate buffet between 1600hrs and 1700hrs everyday is very attrative. all the kids and adults in the hotel were so crazy for the sweets and chocolates. i enjoyed the ARKIPELA Spa & Wellness very much. particularly thanks to Diari who has provided a professional and friendly services to me. she alwats wears a smiling face and is very polite to us.

I just had a 60 min massage with Rina, it was absolutely amazing. So slow and unrushed. Whole body traditional.Left me feeling so relaxed, can't wait to come back. Totally recommend for anyone who needs to wind down and chill. Thank you Rina 😊

The warm experience startes right you enter the lobby, They asked you about which area youd like to focus on. The masseuse ms Diari is the best, quite strong for female masseuse, exceeding my expectation, in a good way ofc. ..................

Stayed 8 nights at Movenpick. It's a great resort for Kids (reason why we chose it). 5 large pools are all interconnected, swim up bar, the best kids club, quick 5 min direct walk to Jimbaran Bay beach, breakfast large and plentiful. Issues are there is only 1 restaurant onsite (many more - Western type outside in the Samasta Lifestyle village) and the food is average... whilst it's not poor it's not thrilling either and the biggest problem is the pool lounges... because people are entitled and greedy they put their towels down at 6am and leave for the day to sight see so they have somewhere to come back to you - very unfair for families with kids that would like to be able to relax and watch the children from a lounger. Unfortunately as the Balinese are too nice and don't like confrontation, there's not much that can be done other than join people at there own game and do the same thing. Very disappointing. I'm also an Accor Platinum member and had requested interconnecting rooms - these were not given, instead giving me 2 rooms side by side - this turned out OK, as both children (3 & 7) enjoyed (mainly the 7 year old) having rooms of their own with parents and grandparents. Beware that you may not get interconnecting rooms if you request them. I would recommend the resort for anyone with young children as the facilities are great - just don't expect to walk out of your resort and find shopping, markets or a million massage places ... you have to go to Kuta/Legian if this is what you are after.
