Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali

We Make Moments & Committed to Sustainability

Daily Energy Consumption Analysis

Energy is one of the most significant expenses in the hotel industry. As part of our energy-saving program, we also record and analyze our energy usage on a daily basis, based on hotel occupancy and business load. This helps us recognize any unusual increments and take action immediately.

Water Waste Management

Our wastewater recycling plant is able to recycle all wastewater from rooms and kitchens, following standards and regulations. We use our recycled water for watering our garden as well as cleaning our pathways. This recycling plan helps us reduce fresh water usage and prevents contamination of the environment.

Organic In-House Decomposed Fertilizers

We understand that using chemical will damage the soil balance and in long term will reduce soil fertility. Therefore we produce our own composes from garden leaves with EM bacterial fermentation. We also produce our own liquid organic fertilizer from rice water and mushroom fermentation. Organic fertilizer will give nutrition to the plantation as well maintain microorganism in the soil that help to maintain soil fertility.

Solar Panel

Renewable energy is a necessity, given the serious issues our planet faces with carbon footprints and global warming. As part of our commitment to the environment, we have installed solar panels, expecting them to be operational by the end of December 2023. These solar panels will supply approximately 40% of our daytime load.
