Best stay in Egypt by far
Best stay in Egypt by far. Especially Hamada has been so nice to us and thanks again for his hospitality. The pool was so clean and well managed. We hope to visit here again.

Our stay at this hotel has been absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is relaxing, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall service has been outstanding. Everything feels well-organized and welcoming, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the experience. A special shoutout to Emad, who truly made our stay even better. He makes the best virgin piña colada ever — perfectly balanced, refreshing, and full of flavor.

Wonderful stay
very nice and elegant hotel, in a small quiet island close to the Nubian village . place de la panorama is amazing . Very welcome in the large beautifully decorated ground floor by lady Tisir in tower ; nice very comfortable room; good buffet of good products for breakfast thanks chef Nagdy And thanks Mohamed Galal and Batta and khalid and Mina

Great experience
The hotel is truly excellent and outstanding. The staff are amazing and very professional. I also stayed at this hotel in Petra for four nights, and I was extremely satisfied with everything. Jamal at the restaurant and Ahmed from housekeeping were especially kind and helpful. If I ever travel to Aswan again, I will definitely choose this hotel. The hotel is located on Elephantine Island, separated from the city, which makes it very clean, peaceful, and pleasant.

December 2025 trip
We traveled to Aswan with our 1 year old son and stayed at te Movenpick Resort in Dec of 2025. We loved the location of the hotel. On the quiet Elephantine Island surrounded by the Nile! We were told it is not safe to walk to the Nubian villages on the island but there was a security guard at the gate facing the Tombs of the Nobels that were willing to unlock the gate. We did not take the chance of possibly getting locked out. There was regular free ferry service to downtown side of Aswan. We stayed at a Duplex King Nile View suite. It is in the old building of the complex. You can see the Nile from the 2nd story bedroom and when you walk out onto the garden from the first floor patio. However, in my opinion it was not worth the price given the dated room. I would stay at the newer tower if I have to pick again. The service was average. We contacted the hotel weeks before our trip to confirm that there would be a baby crib in our room and that we were celebrating my husband's birth. The hotel did confirm the crib was in our room and said that they would send a cake to our room during our stay. The receptionist also said they would deliver a cake to our room at check in. We had two dinners there and there was still no cake on my husband's birthday until I spoke with the hotel restaurant manager. The panoramic restaurant had average tasting food at best. Definitely overprice for what they served. The soup was way too salty. The wait staff were kind. The Egyptian restaurant at the new tower was better, but paled to compare the food we had at Jamaican King, which is 12 min walk from the Movenpick ferry stop tot he free Jamaican King ferry stop.
