Day 1 — Embarkation & East Bank (Luxor)

  • Arrive at Luxor and check in.
  • Lunch on board. 
  • Visit the grand temples on the East Bank: Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. 
  • Dinner and overnight on board, sailing begins. 

Day 2 — West Bank of Luxor / Sail toward Esna

  • Visit Valley of the Kings — tombs of ancient Pharaohs. 
  • Visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el‑Bahari) and the Colossi of Memnon. 
  • Lunch on board and then sail toward Esna (passing cornfields and Nile countryside).
  • Overnight on board. 

Day 3 — Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples

  • Sail to Edfu Temple, dedicated to the falcon‑god Horus — one of Egypt’s best‑preserved ancient temples. 
  • After Edfu visit, sail to Kom Ombo Temple — a unique “double temple”, dedicated to two gods (Sobek and Horus). 
  • Dinner and overnight on board as the cruise heads toward Aswan. 

Day 4 — Aswan Sightseeing: High Dam, Philae Temple & More

  • Morning visit to Aswan High Dam — a modern marvel shaping the Nile’s flow and Egypt’s resources. 
  • Visit the beautiful Philae Temple (on Agilkia Island) — a temple to the goddess Isis, reached by boat. 
  • Optionally, sail around local islands by felucca or enjoy the sunset on the Nile. Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan. 

Day 5 — Disembarkation in Aswan

  • Breakfast on board and disembark; end of cruise. 
  • From Aswan, you can extend with optional trips (e.g. to Abu Simbel Temples) if you like. 

 

4 Days / 3 Nights — Aswan → Luxor 

Day 1 – Aswan

  • Embark on the cruise after arrival. 
  • Visit the Aswan High Dam — a modern Egyptian landmark. 
  • Visit the Philae Temple (on Agilkia Island) — dedicated to the goddess Isis. 
  • See the Unfinished Obelisk — in the old granite quarries, showing how ancient Egyptians worked stone. 
  • Overnight on board. 

Day 2 – Temples of Kom Ombo & Edfu + Sailing

  • Sail to Kom Ombo Temple — a rare “double temple,” dedicated both to Sobek (the crocodile god) and Horus. 
  • Then sail to Edfu Temple — one of the best preserved ancient temples in Egypt, dedicated to Horus. 
  • Continue sailing towards Luxor; dinner and overnight onboard. 

Day 3 – Luxor West Bank: Ancient Tombs & Temples

  • Disembark to visit the Valley of the Kings, where many pharaohs’ tombs lie. 
  • Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el‑Bahari — a remarkable mortuary temple carved into cliffs. 
  • See the Colossi of Memnon — two huge statues from a long‑destroyed mortuary temple. 
  • Lunch on board, then evening at leisure/sailing. Overnight onboard in Luxor. 

Day 4 – Luxor East Bank: Temples, Disembarkation

  • Visit the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex — one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt. 
  • Then visit Luxor Temple — historically linked to Karnak via an ancient avenue of sphinxes. 
  • Disembark after breakfast; your cruise ends in Luxor with a free airport transfer.
