Concerning lack of care for people with disabilities
I have stayed in this hotel a number of times before as it close to my office and found it perfectly adequate. As someone who has recently trained as a disability advocate, I am reporting my experience as I found it concerning. The room I was assigned was “adapted” with a wet room, wide bathroom door and toilet bars. However, the sink unit was at regular height, and the wall mounted soap dispenser at the sink was out of reach. Most importantly, the shower temperature indicator was broken so it was not possible to see if the water was hot or cold without turning it on. A person with a physical disability would have been sitting immediately under this, giving a high risk of scalding. During use, the water ran hot & cold, making me think the whole shower unit was out of order. The room was also immediately next door to the gym, so I was awoken at 6.40am by a person repeatedly dropping weights on the floor (I know this as I got up to check what the noise was!) As I would assume there are only a small number of adapted rooms, it seems a shame that this one is clearly in the most unfavourable location & subject to noise These things are minor inconveniences to a fully able bodied person as I am able to change rooms, but would be more significant for someone who may not have that choice. I reported this to two reception staff members (Theo and Maya) who could not have been less interested. Shame on you, Movenpick for providing a sub-standard experience for disabled guests - you are a big hotel chain and should do better

Cioccolata mon amour!
Bellissimo e moderno hotel situato sul lungolago di Losanna, personale gentile e disponibile, al check in viene consegnata una card che permette di utilizzare gratuitamente i mezzi di trasporto locali e usufruire di sconti in alcuni musei (es. museo olimpico). Camera ampia e luminosa con vista lago dotata di tutti i comfort, tv, bollitore, nescafè, due bottiglie d’acqua offerte dalla direzione, accappatoi e ciabatte, free wifi, letti ampi e confortevoli, bagno spazioso. Colazione eccellente, un’ampia varietà di salato (dall’omelette cucinata al momento al salmone affumicato) e dolce con possibilità di ‘degustare’ addirittura un bicchiere di spumante! Ciliegina sulla torta dal lunedì al venerdì dalle 16,00 alle 17,00 degustazione gratuita di cioccolatini…una goduria! Usufruito il parcheggio fronte hotel in quanto più economico. Ottimo soggiorno, peccato essere rimasti solo due notti…

Emplacement au top sur Lausanne Devant le port d’Ouchy À 200 mètres du Métro d’ailleurs l’hôtel vous fournira un pass pour voyager gratuitement En face un parking 40FCH la journée Nous avons occupé la seule suite duplex de l’hôtel grand confort vue superbe Petit déjeuner complet Repas restau en room services très bien Merci à THÉO et à sa collègue de l’ESC Toulouse dont j’ai oublié le prénom pour leur accueil, grâce à leur bons conseils nous avons fait de belles visites Ne changez rien c’est parfait

Excellent séjour
Excellent séjour dans une chambre donnant sur le lac. Idéalement situé au bord du lac et à 5 mn du centre via le métro qui arrive à 200m de l’hôtel (l’hôtel offre un pass gratuit le temps du séjour aux transports en commun de Lausanne) Personnel très pro et très efficace. Accueil très chaleureux et service irréprochable. Très bon petit déjeuner avec un large choix de produits de qualité. Je recommande sans hésitation.
