Recommend for family!

The best destination for family trip. We stay here for 3nights. Premium Family Suite is the best for big family like us, Clean room and functional. Have connecting double doors lock for more privacy. The resort is Oceanside with relaxing atmosphere, the best of memorable trip for our family.

Beyond Impression

Just 1 night stay but I fall in love and knowing that it will not be the last definitely. Some technical issue upon making reservation but it was solved promptly by Khun Busadee : thank you to her helpful. At arrival till departure, Khun Noon and her crew were out of their way to ensure the stay was so pleasant. Room was very functioning, clean and the private pool was great for my daughter, love it. Breakfast was full of quality item, tasty and Dinner at Baan Dum was also great , fresh and yum. Lastly, Kids Club and Beach bar , staffs are friendly. In short, it’s awesome

Good memories

The fresh seafood is very delicious, I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great, with beautiful views. They also offer spa services. The accommodation is beautiful and clean. I will definitely come back again It's a good and memorable experience.

Comfortable stay

My recent stay here was comfortable. The hotel exudes a cozy atmosphere that is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. We really liked the food at Baan dum and very much appreciated K.Jiew, who takes care of us during our dinner. We would like to shout out for K.Tai, K.Teya, and K.Aor at Asara Spa since we arrived at the spa they were very warm welcome, and the massage was great, relaxed, and comfortable. I recommend who is looking for the best spa in Hua Hin. Asara Spa is the best. Thank you to K.Nok during check out for her kindness and listen to us with understanding for some experience during our stay. Overall, we are satisfied and enjoyed our stay here. Will come back

Terrible service and racist staff

The hotel staff have no training. They have no idea how to serve customers with respect while claiming to be a 5 star hotel. The resort is average but the service staff to check in staff are very poor with their service skills. Only a handful spoke English and the rest were surviving on their basic few words of English. I would not recommend this hotel as 5 star based on my experience. When we arrived at check in, I was given a parking view room even though I paid specifically for a junior suite with a pool view. The lady lied saying the hotel was fully booked and then magically moved us to another room with a partial pool view within minutes after refusing to stay in a parking view room. The next morning I was then offered to another better pool view room. The first night we dined at the Baan Dum restaurant where we were served with pre cooked food. The service staff could not speak English or understand basic orders. I was served cold spring rolls and the staff had eye rolls because they were facing staff shortages. At the breakfast, during peak time, the service staff could not handle the pressure . There were no juice glasses nor they had any system going on to deal with customers. The food was never replenished and we had to constant ask for things. The staff had no smiles but only eye roles. At no time I felt like a valued customer because they preferred to deal with “ white “ customers. We met a lovely F and B Manager, Lita who was the only saving grace. Things got a bit better after we highlighted some service failures. The service got little better but nothing to rave about. On one night we had dinner at restaurant and wait staff forgot our order and there were only 4 diners in the restaurant. When we waited for more than 30 minutes , the wait staff Mathew blamed me saying you did not order. The hotel also runs a chocolate hour between 4-5 pm which the kids would like but there are no hot drinks included. There is a basic gym which did the job. The bar located near the pool had happy hour which had a nice view. The swimming pool was not clean. I saw tadpoles and frogs swimming in and out. The only positives were the rooms were clean and food was ok. As a Silver member, I did not feel valued or welcome. The welcome drink voucher was useless as they only had limited options and no beer or wine. We did not even use it. As we checked out, a staff member came to check our room if we were stealing hotel property. I had given laundry for dry cleaning and it was returned to my room in a laundry bag. At check out, they asked me to return the laundry bag or pay THB200 to retain it. This is the attitude of the hotel. Why return the laundry in a laundry bag if you expect that to be returned back to the hotel. The check out staff who was a young man had no interest in talking to us and totally ignored us. He said it was his first day at work back and had no enthusiasm. Overall, the hotel is not worth its hype and there are better options around the same area. Take your business to another hotel chain as clearly the GM is not interested in training or improving the services. If you value basic human interactions and pleasant smiling and happy staff who are well trained and professional stay away from Movenpick. This hotel is a disgrace to the brand.
