Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin

So as we were in Hua Hin for new year we booked in to the Movenpick Asara resort for their New Year’s Eve dinner We went with the open bar for extra 1500thb each and in total we paid 10800thb or €305 for two guests The night started with a bang I won’ the lucky prize 2 time on the trot so started a spa treatment and bottle of wine up 😂😎 that’s the highlight of the night The staff were inept asking everybody on the drinks package what time they arrived as the drinks package was limited to 2hrs from first pour 🤷‍♂️ new to me but it happens Food was ok but spread about over about 200 metres then the bottomless drinks for 2 hours when you waiting 15 mins for them to turn up and they poor about 1.5 inch of wine in your glass it seems they are taking the micky We waited 10 mins for the table to clear and to be honest the entertainment was of for a cruise ship but not New Year’s Eve We gave up and got a taxi to Our hotel and watched fireworks off the roof it was great Moral of the story , read the small print

Everything was good, but spa was exceptional. Chocolate hour was better than any other Movenpick hotels, but excluded drinks. Swimming pool was nice and good in size. There was no beach though. Kid club was tiny. While the breakfast was just alright.

The hotel, set in a beautiful garden, is perfect for relaxation. The staff are very friendly and helpful, creating a unique atmosphere in this place. The excellent Thai and European cuisine is served in two restaurants. We particularly enjoyed the chocolate happy hour. I recommend using the hotel spa. After visiting it, you feel relaxed and refreshed. In the afternoons, you can sip cool drinks at the bar by the ocean and listen to live music. The hotel is located a short distance from the center of Hua-Hin. If you are going to Thailand and want to have an unforgettable adventure, I recommend this hotel.

A gorgeous oasis of peace in a nice area.. service was fantastic, with attention to details. Experienced the Thai restaurant on the sea front and the food was really good, actually best we had from our 9 days trip. A few nice activities as well like kayaking or water scooter in the pool… and some nice live music everyday.

Mövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin is just an incredible place to stay! The property itself is stunning, with lush gardens, peaceful vibes, and everything you need to feel relaxed and pampered. We stayed in a 2-bedroom villa, and it was amazing—super spacious, beautifully decorated, and with all the comforts of home (and then some!). The private pool was such a great bonus, making it perfect for both family time and a little quiet escape. The staff here are wonderful, always friendly, and genuinely attentive, making sure everything is just right. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and it really shows in all the little touches. The kids’ zone is fantastic too—our kids loved it and had plenty to keep them entertained, which gave us a chance to unwind a bit more. If you’re looking for a mix of luxury, family-friendly vibes, and amazing service, this place has it all. Can’t wait to come back!
