Mövenpick Phuket Bangtao

Thank you for a nice stay at your hotel! The best with this hotel is the friendly staff. Thank you for the great service Keyven and Lak! The room was clean and the thai Food on the hotel was good. However the international Food could be improved, the spaghetti bolognese didnt taste Italian. Its sad that you cant see the beautiful sea from the hotel if you dont have rooms facing the sea.

Stayed at Movenpick Bang Tao between 4-11 DEC and to be honest the hotel worth what we paid for . Starting from the amazing staff there( Honey , JC , Ali , Gavin and the entire team.. ) that made our stay great and outstanding. We booked two bedroom with pool and the room was neat , specious with an amazing view . Pool was great and the beach is super close to the hotel ( 22 steps as JC used to say ) We arrived early but Gavin welcomed us with a smile and told us that our room is ready and we can check in early that gave us the smile after long flight . Last but not least special thank you for ( Honey ) . She is an amazing person and all my family loved her ( even my daughter wrote her thank you letter when we left ) I would like to come back to Movenpick Bang Tao again and again

Facilities and services are great. The Christmas Eve buffet is one of the highlights. Location could not be better with very easy access to the beach and few minutes drive to local stores. The arranged one day tour of islands hopping is wonderful. Overall, it is a great destination for family with kids. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is fantastic and the staff were incredible, always helpful and attentive with everything from organising tours to arranging golf trips, especially Mick. The kids had an amazing time with the pool toys, particularly the inflatable jet ski, and really enjoyed the kickboxing classes. The location is unbeatable, right on the beach, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. The buffet nights at the hotel were excellent, and Orly at the pool bar was wonderful. We would happily return.

First the pros : - great location and close to everything in Laguna - on the beach front so you walk out to the beach - very helpful staff The cons - very dated rooms and old interiors. Should be rated 4* not 5 star - below average breakfast and very small area for the same. - only one restaurant so no choice at all - small hotel, the pictures are a little misleading and lots of stairs everywhere
