Mövenpick Petra

The hotel is very well located where you can see the Petra museum and Petra visitor center at your room. The check in is very smooth and fast. Breakfast and dinner has a lot of variety. I recommend to eat dinner at the Roof garden, it will offer you a delightful evening matches with the food. All the staff are accommodating, shootout to Madle who lead us to experience the barbecue under the stars!

I went to Jordan in May 2024 as it was on my bucket list and was not disappointed, the country is so fascinating, to see Petra was a sight to behold. I stayed in the Movenpick Hotel which is situated directly across from the entrance to Petra it was a lovely comfortable spotlessly clean hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful one member of staff was particularly helpful his name is Yahya Salameen who is the House Keeping Manager he has a very good eye for detail and an asset to the hotel team. I am hoping to return again in the near future and can highly recommend a stay in the Movenpick Hotel.

As we're planning to visit the Petra, we choose to stay in Mövenpick as most of the guests said it has the best location, and it's real, we didn't expect that Petra will take almost half of our day and the time we came is summer, it was too hot that makes us more feel tired, after the adventure, I don't feel my knees anymore a should need a lot of energy, good sleep, and strength to walk and climb the mountains or high places of Petra, such a good decision that we choose to stay here. The hotel has a very good team, from the front desk, concierge, up to the restaurants, as we're looking for a cozy restaurant to have a dinner with, one of the staff, Model recommended us to try the roof garden, she even come with us to bring us there, the view, the food - barbecue, drinks and the service was so nice. Great that we dine here. The hotel is also clean, from the lobby, restaurants and the room we stay. Such a nice combination, Perfect trip with a perfect hotel with a perfect team. Kudos!

The hotel is perfectly located in front of Petra Visitor Center and Petra museum, this paid off the tiring day after the six hours walk under the sun! The hotel has a Good team also, special thanks to Model, who suggested as to spend a dinner at the roof garden, it’s such a magical place especially during night where you can watch the city lights. We had a pleasant stay, we will definitely come back again.
