Stellar Touring Location and Food.
This 5-star luxe resort hotel is unbeatably located literally across the street from the main entrance to the extraordinary Petra archeological site, visitor center and museum. It is also well-designed, impeccably maintained, elegantly furnished in oriental style of crafted wood, natural stone and exotic fabric. The two first floor main restaurants provide an elevated repertory of excellent food, and the Al Saraya restaurant in particular offers a lavish buffet that is a welcome orientation to authentic Jordanian and Middle Eastern cuisine. While the rooms and suites are smallish, they are efficiently designed, well maintained and very clean. The invitingly exotic Lobby Lounge sits in a plush interior courtyard rising to the top levels of the hotel whose room walkways enclose it. There are a couple of bars to quench your thirst and a rooftop garden from which to marvel at the rosy environs of Petra at dusk. And of course the requisite resort pool, gym and spa. A very friendly and supportive service staff provides ease and comfort to your stay. Indulge yourselves after a hard tour of the inimitable Nabataean ruins, at day or night.

Great experience
Mövenpick Petra Hotel is distinguished by its excellent location, very close to Petra, which is its greatest advantage. The stay was comfortable and the service was excellent. I would like to thank the housekeeping staff member Jawad S for the cleanliness of the room, his attention to detail, and his professional and polite manner. I would also like to thank the supervisor Hamza F for his respectful attitude, good communication, and quick response. There was clear care and attention given to my family, and I was especially touched by a kind gesture from Jawad, who gave a doll to my child. It was a thoughtful and humane act that left a very positive impression on us. A wonderful experience, and I confidently recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful experience at our Petra hotel. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and it is evident the employees care for their guests. Lovely hotel and an incredible location.
