Short stay

Room was alright there is this glass wall to the wc witch I have found weird if I was not staying alone. Resturant is quite expensive I was disappointed in the menu items. ordered a simple hamburger and was so disappointed.there are not many resturant close to the hotel but there are 2 grocery stores

NICE STAY NICE HOTEL & LOCATION

Very nice hotel with past history and modern touches, very wide space, great location and area is quiet, near S-Bahn, U-Bahn, buses. Walking distance to Berlin Mall and Potsdamer Platz Comfortable rooms, friendly staff and good food and drinks

Mövenpick hotel states no responsibility for personal items. Did nothing to reimburse us.Refused to written complaint .

I am very disappointed with the staff. Prints of art worth of 200€ were stolen from the room we were staying. At the beginning we thought that it was misplaced ,staff checked in the garbage and recycling , found nothing,denying the fact of stolen by staff.

Good location and that's all...

I stayed at this hotel, hoping that the Swiss brand would ensure a high standard and that the four stars according to German standards would be truly deserved. I booked a room with a King Bed and specified in the reservation a request for a room on a high floor with a bathtub and an attractive view, even if it was just of the street. Unfortunately, I received room number 104, which does not meet any of these requirements. The bed is definitely not a King Bed, the room is on the lowest floor, it is equipped with a shower, and the view from the window is of a neglected courtyard full of trash. The hotel has clearly seen better days, which is also reflected in the staff. The reception ignored my message pointing out that the room did not meet the reservation conditions. The walls in the room are dirty, the carpets are stained, and the furniture is scratched and worn. Some of the appliances are archaic and should be replaced. All of this indicates that the hotel still has a lot of work to do. While a renovation might be a major undertaking, more thorough cleaning and a friendlier, more professional staff are issues that can be improved immediately. These kinds of changes are crucial for improving guest comfort and maintaining the hotel's good reputation.

Just OK

This hotel definitely does not match up to a 5 star standard. No welcome amenities, no guest services just basic standard. The espresso machine and the telephone in the room didn’t work. The bathroom emanates a very foul smell while you take a shower. Breakfast was good and the only positive in the 3 night stay…
