Very quiet and very close to the airport

In some cities, hotels next to the airport can be noisy and run down. Movenpick was the complete opposite. Quiet, comfortable bed, clean and tidy. It's a shame my flight was so early, as I didn't get to try the food. Very short walk to the airport terminal and the U-Bahn station. Probably be staying here again next visit.

Fantastic staff, great food, tired rooms, gym closed.

Fantastic service from the front of house and restaurant staff - really attentive, helpful and friendly. The gym was closed for refurbishment which was a disappointment, particularly as I was in the hotel for 3 nights. Food was excellent (although you definitely pay for it!!). Room was a decent size, but carpets not particularly clean and the bathroom was a little ‘tired’. Fantastic location for the airport though, and I’d stay here again!

Waiting for dinner

Eventually after 48 minutes I finally received my starter which was wrong. Ffs. 1 hour and 25 minutes and still no sign of my main. Maybe McDonalds in the terminal building would have been a better option, definitely cheaper and a damn sight quicker! 1.5 hours. Never anywhere in Europe or North America have I had to wait so long!

Great for that early morning flight.

Great airport for the early morning flight. Staff was very friendly and showed us how to use subway to get to the Christmas Market. Bed was soft and room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was no outlets near the side of the bed / end tables. We had a quick snack at bar and it was good with reasonable prices.

Unfair Advantage of a Customer

I left the hotel with a bad taste in my mouth. I was initially booked for 2 nights (arriving early morning on Oct 10 and leaving late night on Oct 11). After realising that I had made an error on my booking and need to stay an extra night (as my fight was at 2am on Oct 12), first the hotel told me that there was no room available. Then suddenly they said a room had become available but they would charge me 3 times that price I paid for one night!! I spoke with the 'Revenue Manager' who at first wouldn't come on the line but was completely not understanding towards my point of view. To top it off, the bath robe in my room was torn and they wouldn't send someone up to help me with the ironing table as I was having difficulty opening it. So I ironed while squatting on the floor. Poor Poor service.
