No stay, full penalty charge
The hotel management rejection of the emergency cancelation request, although in accordance to the T&Cs , was very rigid considering that the request was only 8 hours after the deadline in the early morning. The hotel charged the full day amount penalty. Such rigid response from a prestigious chain as Mövenpick is surprising, even after a reconsideration request due to the Munich airport strike situation on Feb 27 to 28 2025 .

Ideal für die Anreise aus dem Nachbarland
Flughafennähe ist perfekt. Das Paket sleep and fly lohnt sich suf jeden Fall. Bestes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Wir kamen die Nacht vorher aus der Schweiz an und hatten somit keinen Stress für die Hinfahrt. Das Abendessen ist gut und man kann sich die so die Restaurantsuche spät abends ersparen. Die Betten sind bequem. Wir hatten ohne Frühstück gebucht, da wir früh raus mussten. Dafür gab es einen Gratiskaffee to go. Super netter Service!

Esperienza minimalista
Ottima la posizione per l' aeroporto. Personale molto provinciale, parla solo inglese e non sa comunicare con tutti. Ristorante abbastanza caro per cibi standard. Pessimi i bagni aperti in camera e la vecchia poltrona polverosa pericolosa per le allergie

Not the Best
Getting to/from a big hassle; they need to add a shuttle to/from airport. (we found out next door neighbor Best Western has one) Lot of time needed to take S8 train 2 stops; then wait at Hallbergmoos for Bus 698 Hallbergmoos 10 min (9 stops) to get to the hotel. Trying to purchase tickets for this was confusing. Further, no air conditioning made for a poor night's sleep. Had to ask for another room due to mystery odor.

Has slipped since our last visits
We have stayed here three separate times and this has been by far the worst time we’ve ever stayed here. There is no airport shuttle and a taxi costs upwards of 30€. We arrived in the early afternoon (2pm) and while the room was ready there was zero food on site to eat. The whole area is shut down during the weekend and no local restaurants are even opened. Which made our meeting with a friend very uncomfortable having had to go to netto grocery store with them to buy some breads, cheese and chips. Very disappointed overall. Dinner was very good and plentiful but it didn’t make up for the fact that there was no food available for anyone arriving on the weekends between 10am and 6pm. This must change if this hotel wants to compete with other local hotels as well as a hotel shuttle. We would only stay with a Marriott or Hilton moving forward next time which is disappointing as we stayed there many times when Albert was overseeing operations and the hotel was beyond fabulous. Sad to see it go down this much.
