I loved my room - great view and the reception team were very helpful and Lobna from Guest Relations was amazing and professional, always smiling and superb English. The resort is beautiful, breathtaking views and a very relaxing atmosphere.

The hotel itself as a building and the area outside are impressing and definitely 5 stars, the service isn't. At first at the reception I had to call my travel agency in Germany to confirm the hotel, that the stay is payed, even though I had a voucher from the agency with my name on it, saying it's all paid. Me and my husband were waiting after arriving ONE HOUR IN THE RECEPTION, while the workers at the desk were laughing - we felt stupid and at this point I didn't want to stay there anymore. They told us this happens every day, so why they didn't give us the card so we can call the agency from the room and don't have this bad first impression when it wasn't our fault? The second thing was the last day as we got waked up at 9 from the service guy, who wanted to charge us 5 Dinar (1,5€!) for one drink from the mini bar. He literally entered the room while I was in the bed...don't we normally do it at the check out? My husband is Tunisian and we went to many places in his country, the service on Djerba in 3 stars hotels is better than this one with 5. The cleaning lady and the man working next to the pool and beach were very nice and friendly :) The breakfast was good and there was a lot to choose but every day exactly the same things. And to enter the (empty) sauna you need to book one treatment, like, what?! Why? The whole Movenpick Sousse experience, beside the service, was still very nice and we liked the hotel, it's very beautiful! But I wish the people working there, who have direct contact with the guest, were more professional.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Great welcome team, staff were attentive and very responsive to request. The have good spa facilities and lovely pool options. The private beach is well equiped and clean.For any special requests and needs the hotel has a guest relations manager Mrs Lobna who is always present and lovely, always great you with a smile.
