Sustainability Projects

 

Our dedication to environmental sustainability is reflected in various initiatives designed to reduce our carbon footprint while maintaining exceptional service standards. Our sustainable hotel practices include:

  • Reduction of Single-Use Plastics: Significant reduction of single-use plastics in guest rooms and F&B areas.
  • In-House Water Bottling: Installation of an in-house water bottling facility to minimize plastic waste.
  • Efficient Food Waste Management: Use of AI and technology to optimize food waste management.
  • Biodegradable Cleaning Solutions: Utilization of biodegradable, low-pressure, and pH-neutral surfactants for cleaning fresh air handling units.
  • CO2 Offsetting: Offsetting CO2 emissions for energy usage in all meetings and events. We retire Verified Carbon Units to support projects like the 1.6MW Bundled Rice Husk Based Cogeneration Plant in Punjab and U.P. districts.
  • Energy Efficiency: Installation of motion sensors in various hotel areas (front and back of house) and HVAC systems controlled through a Building Management System (BMS).
  • Scheduled Energy Use: Meeting room units are set on a time schedule according to the BEO.
  • Waste Management: Comprehensive waste segregation and daily monitoring of energy consumption.
  • LED Lighting: 80% of our hotel areas feature energy-efficient LED light fittings, including all exit lights.
  • Automated Lighting Control: A lighting control system programmed with day and night sequences, with outdoor, façade, parking, and driveway lights controlled by digital timers.
