Katara Cultural Village

Towards the northern part of the city, you will find Katara Cultural Village, a local hub for events and activities all year long, including the country-famous Sports Day. It is also great for dining, walking and taking in a show. The village includes an amphitheatre, heritage centre, libraries, art galleries and museums. There are also retail outlets, coffee shops and a market.

Museum of Islamic Art

Art and history enthusiast can enjoy one of the greatest art collections at the Museum of Islamic Art. Set on the waterfront, the museum building in itself is an architectural gem. Visitors will enjoy masterpieces of Islamic art, including metalwork, ceramics, jewellery, woodwork, textiles and glass, collected from three continents and dating from the 7th century, also labelled as one of the world's most complete collections.

The Pearl

The Pearl covers four million square meters of reclaimed land which now boasts luxurious modern residencies and a promenade around the world's longest waterfront walkway that is lined by internationally renowned restaurants and high end boutiques. A perfect place for a stroll, some shopping and of course al fresco dining.
