Environmental Sustainability

At Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba, we desire to be part of the ecological solution and ensure that we are making the right choices with a positive impact for future generations.

Social Sustainability

Care is one of our values. We extend our support to society by participating in events such as the following:

  • Visit the center for kids with special needs in Aqaba during the disability awareness week in 2022.
  • The Kilo of Kindness Campaign.
  • Blood donation campaign for the blood bank in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
  • Blue Flag and Green Key certificates awarded by JREDS for our resort.
  • Mother's Day celebrations—in resort activities.
  • Support to breast cancer awareness – pink October (King Hussein Cancer Foundation Center) every year.

Employee Sustainability

We also aim to achieve excellence in human resources and leadership practices. We are committed to creating a culture amongst our employees that consistently improves employee engagement, development, health, safety, and security.

With the new partnership, we underpin our ambition to set an example for the industry. The strategy is part of a company-wide program to establish a common and global approach to environmental, social, and employee sustainability.
