Taking place at a beautiful location in front of the palace, the gourmet event „Münster verwöhnt“ will introduce you to many delicacies. Around 20 restaurants from the region of Münster will be presenting their food specialities. A cocktail bar, beer garden and a program for the whole family are also awaiting you.

Turnier der Sieger

The dressage and show jumping championship in Münster is one of the oldest German equestrian tournaments and enjoys enormous popularity in one of the most important horse breeding areas in Germany. European, world, and Olympic champions are coming to battle for victories and rankings.

Three times a year, the largest funfair in the whole Münsterland takes place in front of the picturesque backdrop of the Münster Castle. More than 200 stands of exciting rides, the classic Ferris wheel, various shops and many food stands attract about one million visitors every year.

Volksbank Münster Marathon

Since 2002, the Münster Marathon has established itself as one of the ten biggest marathons in Germany. Athletes like the marathon because of the good organisation, spectators with good spirit, friends and family can see them several times along the race course, great motivational quotes at each kilometre and transition boxes for the relay runners that are not disturbing for the marathon runners. The Münster Marathon is a huge sports and cultural event with an unmatched finish line at the historical Prinzipalmarkt within the city centre.
