Poor Housekeeping and smelly room

1. Room Condition: Upon arrival, the room had a strong and unpleasant smell. The washroom was wet and not properly dried, clearly indicating that the room had not been prepared to acceptable standards. The smell continued to come specifically from the washroom despite the fact that we had not used it. 2. Housekeeping Response: When we raised the issue, the housekeeping staff member (likely the supervisor/manager) responded in a dismissive and defensive manner. She insisted that the smell was from our shoes or socks, which was incorrect, especially since we had just entered the room and the washroom had not been used at all. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. 3. Request for Room Change: We requested to change the room due to the persistent smell. However, we were informed that room change was not possible without being given any proper reason. 4. Request for Fragrance Spray: Since room change was denied, we at least requested that housekeeping spray some fragrance in the room. They agreed, but when we returned to the room in the evening, nothing had been done. The room remained in the same smelly condition, and no fragrance spray had been applied. 5. Refund Request: Given the poor room condition, unprofessional behavior, and lack of corrective action, we requested a refund. Our request was rejected without any valid justification. Overall Feedback: The overall experience was very disappointing and far below the expected standards of hospitality. The room was not properly cleaned, the staff response was unprofessional, and no effective solution was provided despite multiple requests. Requested Action: I request the management to review this matter seriously, reconsider the refund, and take corrective measures to improve room hygiene, staff attitude, and overall service quality.

Staff was best

I had an exceptional stay at your hotel, and a major reason behind this great experience was Shams – the Bellman. From the moment I arrived, Shams greeted me with genuine warmth and professionalism. He handled my luggage with care, guided me through the hotel facilities, and made sure I felt comfortable at every step. His attention to detail, respectful attitude, and willingness to assist truly stood out. Staff like Shams elevate the entire guest experience and reflect the hotel’s high standards. A huge appreciation to him for making my stay memorable. Highly recommended
