Most of the young movenpick egerking staff are nice except one old lady staff. I came to spend the night with my kids n one of them is disabled. When we walked in the front door she arrogantly n loudly said if we were going in or not n this also happened in the lift. Does it really take an hour for her to get to the door? And just look at her condition. I don't know why she did that but to me she is a racist against asians. Maybe movenpick egerkingen should advise her not to do the same to others.
Horrible experience. The room was aged and the carpet was disgusting. The room was extremely hot, we couldn't sleep. No air conditioning just a very noisy and totally inefficient fan. I rang reception at 2am in the morning and they said that the only solution was to keep the windows open. We had a young child, the room was at the second floor without any protection on the window. This was clearly not an available option. I asked to speak with a manager and he was not available. I asked if he could give me a call the following day and I am still waiting. This is not the type of quality or customer care that it is expected in a 4 stars hotel. Unpolite, unprofessional and poor quality.
Once again, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Bilel, whose friendliness truly made us feel at home—a special shout-out to him is well deserved! The food was excellent, with plenty of choices to satisfy every taste. The atmosphere was relaxed and never too crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I think we’ll make this an annual tradition. Definitely coming back next year!

Our stay at Mövenpick Egerkingen was a disaster, especially during breakfast. Guests were segregated into groups and served drastically different breakfast qualities in adjacent halls. While one group enjoyed a rich and fresh spread, our group was given stale, limited, and unhygienic options, including dirty glasses, smudged tableware, and unclean tablecloths. Worse, we had to set our own tables and fetch napkins. Adding to the humiliation, a staff member blocked access between the areas, enforcing this segregation and making guests feel like second-class citizens. When we raised concerns, staff dismissed us with a smile, offering no explanation or solution. This discriminatory and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable for Mövenpick. Travelers, especially from Turkey, should avoid this hotel. Think twice before booking—you might be classified as “B-class” instead of receiving the premium experience promised. Mövenpick Egerkingen has failed on all fronts. .
