The Amsterdam Dungeon
Historic Amsterdam topics covered include the VOC era, the plague epidemic of 1664 and punishment by the Spanish Inquisition around 1600. In the building are attractions such as a torture chamber where visitors can experience the atmosphere of being in a courtroom of the so-called Blood Council.
The Amsterdam Dungeon is open every day of the year except on King's Day and normal opening times may vary on a seasonal basis.

Amsterdam Zoo Artis
The Artis Royal Zoo is a remarkable park where wildlife meets culture and where wisdom merges with pleasure. Artis was founded in 1838, making it the oldest zoo in the Netherlands. The full name of the zoo is Natura Artis Magistra, which is Latin for: nature is the teacher of art and science.
Artis has stunning old buildings and extraordinary gardens to complement its aquarium, planetarium and arboretum. During summer, extended hours may apply and there are also weekly ‘Summer Nights at the Zoo'.
Madame Tussauds is the name of several wax museums in London, Amsterdam, New York, Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Berlin. In these museums you will find full-size wax replicas of well-known and famous personalities.

NEMO is the largest science centre in the Netherlands. With five floors full of exciting things to do and discover, it is the perfect place for anyone with an inquiring mind. Everything in NEMO is connected to science and technology. Visitors are actively engaged in hands-on displays, computer simulations and various kinds of experiments. Great fun for kids and adults. Walking distance from Central Station.
Nowhere else in the world are the flowers and colours of spring as glorious as they are in Keukenhof. Here you will find endless inspiration while you relax in the beautiful surroundings of the park. Keukenhof offers visitors the opportunity to see millions of bulbs in flower, fantastic flower shows and the largest sculpture park in the Netherlands. It opens to the public every year from mid-March to mid-May. Depending on the weather, April is usually the best time to see the tulips.
