Located in Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum is the final resting place of President Ho Chi Minh. The place was first constructed in September 1973 and still remains as a unique combination between the design of Lenin's Mausoleum in Moscow and the domestic architecture of Vietnam. This construction was dedicated to Ho Chi Minh since this was the place where Chairman of the Communist Party of Vietnam, read the Declaration of Independence in 1945. The whole construction consists of three main parts to visit which are:
- A site of pilgrimage
- Large memorial
- Impressive building
