Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives

We came for our honeymoon, everything was great and the staff are so helpful and friendly! Our island host Daria was awesome with organising everything for us. Perfect weather, perfect resort and the food has been out of this world (Brekky, lunch, dinner and desserts)!!! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to come to the Maldives. This resort is luxurious!

1. Swimming - absolutely perfect laguna for swimming around the water villas. I could swim for hours in this calm and absolutely clear water. It was such a big pleasure to swim in this beautiful laguna. Every single minute was memorable and enjoyable. 2. Villas - i am a water villa fan and can say that the water villa was very well thought-out, planned, spaced and equipped. The zoning was really nicely planned and set and the way the lighting worked made the presence in the villa very magical. Excellent lighting decisions. The villa was equipped with absolutely everything one could need and IMO could not be equipped better. The coconut doors are an absolute masterpiece and very original. Room cleaning was always excellent. 3. Bodumas - favorite restaurant. All lunches and dinners, that i could possibly eat there, i ate at Bodumas and the place was a number 1 choice for me. It is exquisite! The convenient location of a place with a beautiful view and original decor made it a hot spot. At night with all of the lightning it looked like a fairy tale place. It was very pleasant to eat there. And the food is spectacular - over the top! The cocktails are also very interesting. 4. My favorite guy at Bodumaz - SHAFIZ! I was too lazy to even study the menu, but told him what i like and prefer and every single meal i had was something new, spot-on, delicious, beautifully presented and the best choice for me. With him it felt like my best meals and drinks were always fully taken care of to a highest possible standard. Such a great client orientation is not too common and made my frequent visits to Bodumas and the meals i had there very memorable and valuable. Plus Shafiz always maintains an interesting conversation and you feel you have company and being fully taken care of while coming to the restaurant alone. Really valuable person to have on staff with highly above expectation performance and I really hope Shafiz has a promotion or gets rewarded in some way as it would definitely be well deserved. 5. Chef at Bodumas KOMANG - every single dish Shafiz brought was exquisite and it was the perfect culinary realization of my preferences. The dishes were adapted to my preferences and limitations as to products i generally eat with enhancement of the products i like - all deliciously cooked and perfectly presented. The food at Bodumas is a masterpiece and chef is a master. The dishes in the menu are perfect but it makes a huge difference if they can be adapted. 6. Staff general - while l select out and comment separately on the few people i have mostly communicated with, i would like to say, that, in general, the staff is very friendly and show a lot of hospitality. Everyone smiles, everyone greets, everyone nodes, everyone shows positivity and genuine care. You feel like you are a guest at your relatives house constantly cared about while you came to visit. 7. Territory - very clean and well planned with magic lightning in the water villa area and nice isolated areas for peace and calm. 8. Restaurant choices and variety - 3 choices of restaurants and all are fantastic. Theme nights in the main restaurant are very nice and thought out with the great selection of food and timely entertainment. Lobster night was really amazing and the all you can eat lobster was delicious. syrnitki for breakfast was my special huge favorite - big thank you for that!!!! Excellent fruit selection and interesting mixes of fresh juices. I would say very high-level. But with the 2 other theme restaurants definitely a composition to be sufficient for any food preferences. The chocolate and ice-cream hour - one big love. And although i do not myself eat the chocolate, i could just see how much those who did enjoy this daily treat. Will not comment on the quality of the ice-cream - it is the best. 9. Latitude 5.5 - excellent place nicely set up with very mice cocktails. Russian matreshka is a beauty - definite favorite! 10. Night entertainment - very nice lounge music during sunset at 5.5 and at uno marche after dinner. Great band!!! 11. SPA - top level, excellent quality and i have a very good basis for comparison to claim that! 12. Sealife - your fish are so polite. They never disturb you. The ray came to say hello on the arrival day and came back only once to say goodbye on the departure day. The sharks are modest and the rest of the fish were just beautiful and friendly. 13. Water sports and snorkeling - honestly have not tried as i was enjoying too much from the swimming, the restaurants, the walks around the island and the spa, but heard from other guests it was great! 14. Photoshot - here you are amazing. Excellent pictures beautifully put in a musical presentation made me cry. Such an awesome memory to take back home. And the original ending of it - to be continued. Foresure - i will be back for continuation. 15. LASTLY, but not the least, my Batler Fari. Taken and excellent care of me. All arrangements and requests promptly resolved with excellent quality. Feels very special to have such a person on this exclusive island when you know whatever you need will be resolved. Fari was great on all the matters at all of the times. BIGGEST THANK YOU! MOVENPICK, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED YOU AND ADORED YOU. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY WONDERFUL PLACES AND TO 4 OTHER MALDIVIAN RESORTS AND WITHOUT BRINGING DOWN ANY OF THEM (AS THEY WERE ALL WONDERFUL IN THEIR OWN WAY), MOVENPICK REALLY AND TRULLY TOUCHED MY HEART!!! TOUCHED IT SO MUCH, THAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I WILL NOT CONSIDER ANOTHER ISLAND WHEN I COME BACK TO MALDIVES. I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK TO MOVENPICK. TOUCHED IT SO MUCH, THAT I WILL BRING HERE MY PARENTS WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN TO MALDIVES AS MY MUM REFUSED TO GO BECAUSE SHE IS JUST TOO SCARED OF FLYINY - BUT LOOKING AND MY PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FROM MOVENPICK, SHE HAS FINALLY AGREED TO GO. TOUCHED IT SO MUCH, THAT MY EXCELLENT FRIEND WHO PLANNED A MADAGASKAR CRUISE FOR A WHILE, DELAYED THIS PLAN AND DECIDED TO GO TO MOVENPICK INSTEAD. Not only me, but other people distantly through me were truly touched by the extraordinary and positive emotions i have experienced from this unforgettable vacation. YOU GUYS REALLY MAKE MOMENTS!!! BEST MOMENTS EVER!!!!

Absolutely amazing!!! The resort its stunning and all the staff is beyond amazing. From the moment you step of the plain, the worm welcome and easy transfer to seaplane lounge, which is beautiful by the way. Everything it's made so seamless and easy. Bigg .... huge thanx to all staff for making it so easy to transfer from the airport to seaplane lounge. And then you arrive at this amazing, picturesque jewel, with a nice warm welcome, waiting for you at the arriving point with welcome drinks. And then our host greeted us, Larina/ Li, she was absolutely AMAZING, seriously there is no enough wards to describe how great she was, she is. She's there to help you with everything and anything to make your stay even more memorable!! Thank you Li for everything ❤️. Hope you get raise, that you deserve 😃. Like I mentioned before, the resort its absolutely stunning, so peaceful.... over water willa was much more then we expected, big gorgeous, spacious, so clean.... couldn't be any better... And then all the service and staff, omg ...... we have been to many other places all around the world, and usually the staff its great, but at Mövenpick staff it's much more then that. Always kind, helpful and with big smiles 😃, even they work hard and long hours. I sincerely hope that management looks after them well, as they make that beautiful resort even more special. While mentioning the management, they are so great as well, few of the managers came up to us to introduce themselves, and to make sure we had most enjoyable stay. They also organise ones a week cocktail parties for guests, with beautiful finger food and drinks, where they take time to meet you and ask for your feedback 😀, lovely touch. The breakfast at Mövenpick Resorts its hands down the best you can come across 😋, outstanding 👏. We also stayed few years back at Mövenpick Phuket, and still remember beautiful breakfast, this just confirmed that Mövenpick Resorts its leading in that department. And I would like to take this opportunity to specially mention Srini who was amazing, and made us special fruit platers ❤️. And chocolate hour, omgggggg .... another lovely gesture, what can you say from the best icecream in the world to chocolate fountain, and all other beautiful treats. Top noch !!! On the end they were so accommodating to us as we had late flight from Male, they let us stay till late afternoon, so we had a chance to have one more swim in paradise, and take our time to pack up .... Thank you, thank you, thank you for absolutely unforgettable experience ❤️. I wish I could remember all the staff names and mention them each and every one, like our buggy drive who has the most amazing smile, and our room attendant who made our room every day spotless, and special thank you to Mahey, one of the managers who took time to make sure we are looked after. We travel a lot, and usually go to different places to have different experiences, however when we go back to Maldives, we not gonna even look at the other places, it will be definitely Mövenpick Kuredhivaru, and can not wait to go back and create more beautiful memories. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, seriously if you're looking for unforgettable experience and amazing holiday, don't look any further, it doesn't get any better then Mövenpick Kuredhivaru. We went to Maldives and Movenpick for the first time to pre celebrate our 2nd anniversary in Oct 2024. Weather was great, the tide is quite low during evening time. Everything we plan and some special requests are fully fulfilled and ready once we arrive. Prior request for Online check in through the Apps while waiting at the VIP lounge of TMA in Male Velana International Airport made us smooth and seamless experience without waiting at the resort front office and we had been directly brought to our room by our special butler where our luaggaes are already delivered. The resort management and every personnels are very professional and we were very excited and happy during our stays there. We would like to express our special thank and appreciate to; 1) Our Host Ms.Li and her Manager for their friendly and generous offers. Also for the very delicious anniversary cake 2) And the receptionist/casher Ms.Sarah for arranging convience payment. 3) Of course, Movenpick's celebrity Mr.Wesley (smiley) for his always keep smiling during buggy drive and give us a chance to shoot selfie with him and allow us to attract more fans in our social media with his picture. 4) And the most especially, Mr. Sakke for his instant kind support during our urgent need with full of honesty. We give you very heartfelt thanks Mr. Sakke. 5) And a Host/Welcomer at Velana airport when we arrive (sorry I forgot his name) All and all, we will surely miss our stay and every single scene of Movenpick resort and will try to visit again in the future. Good Things during our Stays: # Resort Service and Fulfillment of prior requests # Staffs professionalism, hygiene and their support # No hidden cost and all costs are transparent # Rooms and Accommodation are very well maintained and ensure for cleanliness # At least two times making up room per day are available # Distilled drinking water refilling is always available even for normal package # Fully privacy is given # Ice cream and Chocolate fountain during Chocolate hours are so delicious and are very good quality Suggestion: # Buggy service waiting time is abit long during some busy hours # Same Breakfast menu/items shall be provided on alternate day # Some flies are there in Omu restaurant during breakfast and suggest to prevent # Entrance glass floor mirror of over water villa shall be cleansing from the other side/bottom outside for the best visibility (once per two or three days) # Better to remove barrier wall next to hammock of all over water villa to have better view and experience # Drone policy shall be reconsidered for the family/consumer type of small and low raise aerial type of drone during specific time at the specific area Friendly reminder: There is no direct sunset view from the over water villa except sun rise, you can only experience of sunset light-ray over the sky or go down directly to the ocean from villa room to have a better view Thank you.
