Good facility, extremely attentive associates, The people made all the difference!

I stayed in an executive room and enjoyed the executive lounge, which served food and snacks at set times during the day and evening. The attentive servers made for an exquisite experience and stay! Special Kudos to one of the servers named Simon who went far beyond my expectations. After observing my daily routine, without my prompting, he prepared an evening plate for me on the one day I couldn't visit during the normal serving hours. Anticipating my need, This just blew me away! Thanks, Simon! I loved the Movenpick Accra, especially the huge breakfast buffet that features my favorite, freshly squeezed carrot juice and other fresh juices mixes. This was an excellent place for a week of business in Accra. And on my next visit, I'll definitely go for an Executive room!

Good spread of brunch buffet meals but unkind (toilet) cleaning staff

I went to the restaurant for a Sunday brunch (2nd June) with my family. The spread of meals for the Sunday brunch was good. The meals tasted nice. I even tried the freshly rounded fufu with dry fish soup and that was very nice. The lady making the fufu and the staff within the restaurant were very polite. However, on separate occasions same day when my two daughters went individually to the restroom, the lady cleaning the female toilet was unkind to my daughters. She harshly told my daughter to wash her hands even though she was already at the sink trying to get soap to wash her hands. She did that not realising I was in one of the toilets. A few minutes later when my firstborn went to use the restroom, the cleaner's demeanour was unkind. She was looking at my daughter up and down as though she should not be there because she was mopping but when a grown up lady came to use the toilet, the cleaner began smiling saying it was fine to use the toilet despite the wet ground. I would highly recommend the restaurant for good food. Best to go early before it gets quite busy. However if your kids need to use the restroom, try to be there with them lest they get bullied. Quite a shame that that happened, especially since it was totally unnecessary. Abuse of power just because you can. NB: The live band was very good. Clean voices, friendly interaction with the audience including the kids, varied selection of songs to please the different age range of the audience. 5 out 5 for the band. Truly delightful experience!

The staff are extremely friendly and so helpful. The room was always clean and beddings changed. Jessica and Mary at the main restaurant are brilliant at keeping the place warm and always serve with a smile. I do recommend this hotel to everyone while in Ghana.

Let your death not meet you in Movenpick Ambassador Accra

A terrible experience which will take years for my family to recover from.Let your death not meet you in this hotel. My husband lodged in Movenpick Ambassador from March 2021 to July 2021.He actually passed away during his stay in this hotel . That was the beginning of our nightmare .Not only the management never took the step to contact us or even to contact the British Embassy as my late husband was a british national.Instead we were left in the care of a certain Michael Wilson who is just a well known customer who visit the bars and restaurants of this hotel on a daily basis. This individual has been allowed to conduct inventories in my late husband room 106 and access personal and confidential documents including a private letter my late husband wrote to me and our children before the hotel called that same Michael Wilson to take him to hospital. He will die few days later and this individual was given access to his room .to the safe and entrusted by the hotel to get his passport and inform the British Embassy. I have been in contact for the past 3 days with Mr Adjei ,who was then customer relation manager and the new head of security regarding the private letter which is still missing in order to recover that.I have been yelled at over the phone that Mr Adjei do not know my husband and moreover he never met Michael Wilson in his entire life.I have emailed the hotel to request that Debra Sivertsen take this matter in hand and return the letter to me.No answer. A five stars hotel without protocol on personal belonging safeguading and no guideline on how to help international guests should you get sick or meet your death during your stay. Debra Sivertsen ,a heartless and with no empathy.
