Having stayed at other Accor properties in Hanoi, my decision lay in selecting a property that was in close proximity to the main attractions. I was initially apprehensive about crowds and noise but the service staff did their best to accommodate my stay requests. Front Desk staff are always friendly and professional. In particular, Mr. Thang, the Front Office Manager and his very capable team. Mr. Thang personally welcomed me to the property and constantly checked in on my satisfaction level. The Duty Manager, Mr. Tung Nguyen, also expeditiously resolved some minor issues; to which I'm grateful. Ms. Tam, the Reservations Manager and her team ensured that my airport transfer was seamless. Concierge team members are always pleasant and helpful. My appreciation to Ms. Tran, Concierge Supervisor, who provided me with very useful information on commute to Sapa. She was also very patient during her phone conversations with me. Concierge member, Mr. Tranh was extremely helpful in providing directions and as the weather was unpredictable, he made it a point to ensure that I was always equipped with an umbrella. The Executive Lounge team members are impeccable. They are extremely guest centric and are able to quickly acknowledge specific needs and requests. Mr. Quan, for instance, makes the best drinks and whiskeys. Ms. Anh remembers detailed preferences such as lemon slices to go along with my tea. Her dedication adds a touch of luxury. Ms. Quynh and Ms. Ngan are constantly ensuring that my preferred seat is catered for and tastefully set up. My only grouse would be how etiquette can be more firmly embraced in the Executive Lounge. Staff should enforce strict decorum and silence and not allow guests to be too rowdy, talk noisily or play their mobile devices aloud. I look forward to my next stay in the autumn/winter season. We met a lady from this hotel in a Halong bay trip. She advised me to come and try their Portuguese restaurant and which I missed in last time I stayed there. The price is quite hight but compare to what I received, it’s turned out to be reasonable. The ambience is beautiful, the flavor is various, must send a great compliment to the chef. Big thank to Ms. Hoa and Mr. Hai for their touching service. Specially grateful that Ms. Huen reached us with this recommendation, she must be the best concierge that I’ve met, not sure who else could think about their workplace while on a trip like her.
I stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hanoi. I had a room on the 10th floor, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. One of the highlights was the chocolate party at 5 PM – it made me feel like a kid again, indulging in delicious chocolates! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I’m a vegetarian and only needed bread and peanut butter, and they understood my dietary needs perfectly and were very accommodating. I also requested a late check-out, which they kindly allowed. Special shoutout to Hieu, he understood our needs so well. Overall, I highly recommend this luxury stay in the center of Hanoi!
During our recent business trip to Hanoi, my partner and I stayed at this hotel for three nights, primarily due to its proximity to the Old Quarter, where our meetings were held. The location proved to be highly convenient for our needs. The accommodations were satisfactory, with decent room quality and a breakfast that met our expectations. However, we did encounter an issue with the shower; the water pressure was notably low, which could be improved. Additionally, the hotel features a small pool and a cozy lounge area, providing a pleasant space for relaxation after a busy day of meetings. Overall, our experience was positive, and we found the hotel to be a suitable choice for our stay. Special thanks to Mr. Thomas (GM) for the room upgrades.
We stayed here as a family of 3 a couple of weeks ago. We arrived early, as flight was early and they let us in the room straight away. Check in was quick and efficient. Room was a little on the small side for the 3 of us, but so are most city centre hotels, it wasn’t a problem. The first night felt a little warm, spoke to reception the following morning and asked them to rectify and it was much cooler following this. The staff here are all absolutely lovely and as most places we came across in Vietnam, go out of their way to help you. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but wish we had done as the food looked amazing. we just didn’t have enough free nights there. Same for the pool area, due to a tight schedule and a visit to Ha Long Bay, we didn’t get enough down time to enjoy the pool. The chocolate hour is definitely worth a visit- we sat and had a drink in the bar and enjoyed the chocolate hour each night. It was lovely - Most people ( and it gets very busy) don’t seem to order a drink but that seems a little unfair so we had a drink each evening and it was a lovely way to spend an hour before going out for tea- although we were not hungry following this!! We only had the opportunity to stay for 3 nights but would definitely recommend this hotel and definitely stay again.
