Our 3 weeks tour of Vietnam started here and the hotel gave us a great base for Hanoi. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious with everything needed for the modern traveller. Staff were excellent from the concierge team to the waiting staff at breakfast. The food offering had something for everyone from local food to more western items. When in Rome is our motto so we sample all the various dishes for the breakfast and were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful bakery items. It is clear the French left more than just architecture. A great pool (small but very well presented) with a wonderful bar next to it. Lots of neon after dark which added to the charm. Would certainly recommend
The hotel service was excellent. I used the lounge at this time and there was a wide variety of food and drinks, so I was able to enjoy it all day. The restaurant inside the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it.I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity. Thank you very much.
1st leg of our tour nice hotel in a great location for local ventures out. Great facilities in the hotel and the bar pool was excellent. Restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the rooms very clean and well provided for. Staff very attentive and ready to deal with all enquiries.
I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool is the perfect temperature and the rooms were very clean. DEFINITELY GO TO CHOCOLATE HOUR! (Unlimited chocolate for 1 hour!). The hotel is in a perfect location with lots of things to do in walking distance. The food at breakfast was delicious. 10/10 hotel!
The Mövenpick was the perfect hotel for our 3 night stay in Hanoi. Our first visit to Vietnam and this was the best start to our touring adventure. Staff were all super nice and polite always offering to help. Rooms were clean with space and a comfy bed. We ended each night with a de brief beer/drink in the bar which was nice and the lady who served us was always attentive. We did use the Pool and bar which was outside but still warm water and towels on hand at all times. Old town is a good 20+ mins walk away but for us that was fine. And exploring Hanoi was fascinating and added to our experience in Vietnam. Final mention to door staff who were always poised to open the door for us entering or leaving and happy to have a chat about what our plans were.
