Absolutely the worst of the worst Accor group hotel ever. Been given a room that is so dusty and even can be seen by naked eye. How can a bedside table be so dusty. There are even a used soap bar on the shampoo area, room service didnt even bother to clean it off from the last guest stay. Run down facilities, bed side reading light was hold by a piece of folded flyer. The worst of all is the TV are unavailable the whole duration of my stay. Called and ask and they said they have problems with the TV channels and will let us know once the TV become available. But it never available even till our check out. Am so bored in the room for the whole duration. There isn't any kind of compensation for this kind of incident. The front desk definitely wasn't very friendly but other hotel staff (I remember he was wearing red uniform) was polite and greet me when he saw me walking at the lobby area. Breakfast was so so. Disappointing stay!
Twice in a year, I’ve returned to Mövenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA, and it’s no accident. Just 10 minutes from KLIA airport via a free shuttle, it puts you right at the heart of your journey. I’m not a frequent Mövenpick guest, but this place hooks me with its blend of comfort and value that outweighs minor flaws. The standout feature? Spacious rooms, where after a long flight you feel a breath of fresh air and room to stretch out, with comfy beds and thoughtful design. The staff here shine. They reply to emails quickly, sometimes with delays, but it’s more than acceptable, and you sense genuine care, not just duty. Another perk is the free shuttle to Mitsui Outlet Park nearby—pop in, grab a deal, and your travel budget gets a little boost. If they offered long-term luggage storage, this hotel would be the perfect hub for exploring Malaysia or neighboring countries. For now, it’s a dream, but it still holds up well. There are a few caveats. The hotel isn’t new—first mentions date back to the early 2010s, when it was built as a modern complex near the airport. Years of hosting transit passengers and business events have left some wear. But it didn’t bother me—this is a 5* hotel, and it holds its standard: rooms are clean, furniture is solid, and the corridors stay quiet. The lift screens still advertise an Executive Lounge, but it’s currently closed. Instead, guests are directed to a zone in the Temasya café on the ground floor, where behind a partition— as seen in the photo—lies the lounge area. During the day, they serve drinks and a variety of treats, echoing the Mövenpick Sweets Hour vibe, which is a delight. Evenings bring light snacks: in 2024, it was something hearty like fried rice, handy with no restaurants nearby, while in 2025, it’s lighter fare. It’s nice to sit with, but not filling. Alcohol is banned, fitting its Muslim-Friendly status, and I appreciate that—it adds a cozy feel. Still, without a proper Executive Lounge and with light snacks, something more substantial in the evening would be a welcome trade-off. Sometimes, flying in or out of KLIA, you can spot the hotel from the plane window—a nice little touch. In the end, Mövenpick KLIA delivers reliability and care near the airport. Spacious rooms, responsive staff, and access to the outlet enhance the experience. The city calls, and this hotel is my launchpad. Will I return? Definitely, whenever I need to be steps from the runway.
At that time, I went there to accompany my parents who were going to perform Hajj, and the atmosphere was really comfortable, elegant, and the service was super friendly. I still remember the name Febri from the concierge team, he was the one who provided information about the hotel's facilities and services, his explanation was very clear and we felt really helped by him. His professionalism and attitude truly reflected the high quality of service from the hotel, even though I wasn't staying there, just accompanying my parents, but we were treated very well. Thank you, Febri, for the service and experience for me and my parents.
