Taganka Theater

Stalin's high-rise on Kotelnicheskaya embankment
This is one of the seven Stalinist high-rises in Moscow. Lavrenti Beria personally had a hand in the creation of this building, who supervised the construction. The work was carried out in 1938-1952. They were mainly handled by prisoners who left their "messages" on the window panes for the first residents. The building itself is located on the approaches to the Kremlin.
