Brilliant hotel near KLIA airport literally like 10/15 minutes away. Hotel provides hourly shuttle bus to or from the airport which was brilliant but you need to prebook. The breakfast buffet was amazing, the room was spacious and clean and we had one facing the beautiful local mosque, what a view. Shame we didn’t had the chance to use the pool but it looks nice. Would definitely stay here again.
This is my second time staying at Movenpick, so you can say that I have had a good experience with them. The only difference this time is that I have brought my baby and my mum together with me for a night stay. Good experience at the check in. I think the receptionist was called Aziz or Azim. He briefed us about the breakfast time and told us about the Chocolate Hour. He was professional and friendly. Chocolate Hour is from 3-4PM, only for the hotel guests. I think it’s a fun thing to do when you have kids. I personally enjoyed those chocolates, but I must say that it’s a bit too sweet for my liking. However, thats just my preference. Room was good. We had a good view, facing the mosque. Baby cot provided 10/15 mins after we have checked in. Breakfast was good, excellent spread. However, there were flies here and there during the breakfast buffet and I can see that the hotel provides candles to solve the issues. We used the Kids Club facility twice while staying at Movenpick. My son enjoyed playing with the toys there. It’s also relaxing for the adults to sit down. I noticed that there’s leakage at the lobby (near the Sira cafe) coming from the AC on the ceiling. It’s a bit dangerous as the floor could be slippery, so please be careful. We also sat down at the Sira Cafe to meet our friends. Good quality of snacks provided, but the teh tarik needs to be improved. The quality of the teh tarik doesn’t match with the price - RM10. Overall speaking, this is a good hotel with good staff. I will definitely come again. Ps: They provide shuttle service to KLIA, but you need to book your space.
We were fortunate enough to stay several times this summer as a family at the Mövenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA, and each time, the experience was exceptional. We initially chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the airport, in order to avoid the inconveniences of staying in the city center. And we were delighted: the welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, the service was smooth and impeccable, and the peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal place to rest between flights. We enjoyed our first short stay so much that we returned twice more — including once for a full week at the end of our vacation — which says a lot about how much we loved the place! At that point, we had rented a car and decided to use the hotel as a base for day trips. This setup allowed us to explore several places at our own pace, such as Malacca and Putrajaya, while returning each evening to the comfort and calm of the Mövenpick to relax. The half-board option is convenient, generous, and very well designed. Meals are varied, delicious, and served in a pleasant setting. The rooms are comfortable and impeccably maintained, and the staff… simply outstanding. Warm, helpful, and always professional — whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, by the pool, or in the common areas, everyone contributed to making our stay unforgettable. A special mention goes to the overall atmosphere of the hotel: calm, elegant, family-friendly, and filled with genuine hospitality. We have fond memories of our time there and would happily return on a future trip to Malaysia.
