A special stay at the Mövenpick Hotel and a wonderful experience in the health club with Captain Saad Al-Ghamdi. It was a fun and beautiful day, starting in the swimming pool, then the hot jacuzzi, steam and sauna, then a bar bath after the trouble of traveling. Thank you, Captain Saad, I made my day
World-Class Hospitality at Mövenpick City Star Jeddah During my recent stay at Mövenpick City Star Jeddah, I was truly impressed by the overall quality of the hotel — from the luxurious rooms to the impeccable service. However, one of the standout experiences was my time at the hotel’s Health Club. The facility itself is exceptional — clean, modern, and thoughtfully maintained — but what truly elevates the experience is the team behind it. I would like to extend special appreciation to Coach Saad Al-Ghamdi, who is without a doubt one of the finest professionals I’ve encountered in the hospitality sector. Coach Saad brings a rare combination of leadership, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests. His presence ensures the Health Club operates at the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. It’s clear he not only leads the team effectively, but also inspires excellence around him. The hotel is fortunate to have someone like Coach Saad in such a key role — his professionalism and dedication reflect the true spirit of Mövenpick hospitality.
Wouldn’t stay here again, even if they paid me! This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The rooms and hallways reeked of mold and damp—an overpowering, sickening smell that gave us all headaches within hours. We had three rooms on different floors and every one smelled the same. When we complained, the front desk admitted it’s a common issue, yet still refused a refund and only offered a room change—which made no sense since the whole place stank. We left immediately and moved to the Marriott next door, which was clean, fresh, and actually five-star. Huge thanks to Ammar at the front desk there for saving our trip.
