+ The lobby is huge, luxury and classy + Breakfast is fantastic + The staff are helpful especially the one in front office + Room is big and clean So far everything is perfect in this hotel, as it is my first time I am bot sure the hotel is not in the strategic location or no.

I have been at this hotel for just over four hours,and not 30 minutes has passed without a new annoyance. I suspected a booking error in the room type ( twin vs. double)by our agent,and emailed regarding this.I had a ( rather late) reply from the Duty Manager ,but the mistake was not actually corrected.At check in ,my passport was taken to be scanned ,and I mentioned the room type,in French and English,to the member of staff.She clearly said “ yes ,two beds” ,but my key was issued for the wrong type. The room eventually provided was very large,and looked well initially.It was hot,but the aircon worked- until I left the room ,when it cut off.The bath was configured for show,not use.It is too large for comfort or safety- the most slippery bathtub( no rubber mat) I have ever encountered.I had to immerse the bath mat to be able to get out. The bedding was showy,but voluminous and inappropriate for a hot climate.There was even a clingy quilt UNDER the bottom sheet! A cup of tea for the two of us was not possible with only one cup.I asked for one at the bar,and could have reached it if my arm was longer- but it has to come via ROOM SERVICE.Forty minutes later,and extra trip to reception; still no teacup. One of the very slow lifts has just failed owing to rainwater coming down the liftshaft. We had dinner in the ALC restaurant.I do not want to know the waiter’s name and life history.I want the order to be taken down correctly,and not to come on a stone cold plate. Teacup now at 50 minute mark.

Old outdated bedroom and much smaller than the pics suggest. Check in experience was really bad - We arrived late in Tunis, and the check in proces was long and unfriendly. Overall staff is friendly, but not very efficient (english language problem or simply not well trained) Good food in the restaurants Lack of an outside swimming pool was really disappointing - Summer is extremally hot in Tunis and an outside swimming pool would be very helpful to relax.

The Mövenpick Tunis is an excellent choice in the city. Rooms are clean, the property is centrally located and close to the airport, and it features a lovely shisha terrace overlooking the lake. The spa is very good, breakfast has plenty of options, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Overall, a modern, well-run hotel that delivers good value and a much better experience compared to nearby alternatives.

Great hotel! Clean and great service! I’m very picky with hotels but this one is great! Going back next week for another night!
