Miserable experience. Definitely not a 5 star vibe. Even neighborhood 3 stars be much better
I booked a quad classic room. It has been a miserable sight. Very very old building. Cupboards have worn out. Floor marble, furniture and carpet seems decades old and not managed. Above all management staff is not having the due service mindset. Even neighborhood 3 star hotels are much better than this so called 5 star.

Worst hotel
Extremely Disappointing Stay at Mövenpick Anwar Al Madinah (22–25 October) Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at the Mövenpick Anwar Al Madinah from 22nd to 25th October. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and it certainly did not meet the standards advertised as a 5-star property. We were a family of six three adults and three children and had booked two rooms. Upon check-in, we requested connected rooms for the convenience of our young children and elderly mother. We paid an additional £100 to upgrade to rooms 5083 and 5084, expecting a more comfortable stay. However, what we received was completely unacceptable. The rooms were in extremely poor condition: The bathrooms were mouldy, outdated, and unhygienic. The furniture and fittings were old and worn out. The cleanliness was below basic standards, and the housekeeping staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. The overall environment felt neglected and far from what was advertised online. The photos on your website and booking platforms are misleading and do not represent the true state of the hotel or rooms. What was promised as a 5-star experience turned out to be barely a 3-star standard. I was devastated and extremely disappointed, especially given the amount we paid and the reputation of the Mövenpick brand. I strongly urge you to review this matter and take appropriate action, including a refund or compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. No guest should have to go through such an unpleasant experience, especially when expectations are set so high by your marketing. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
